  • Double-tap the button on the right earbud, then on the third tap - press and hold the button for more than 5 seconds (until the unit shuts off). 
    This restores the earbuds to the factory defaults.
    TWS must be connected to perform the reset, so neither of the earbuds should be off or in the charging case.
    It also may be necessary to remove or forget the earbuds from the list of paired Bluetooth devices in order to pair again.
  • Press and hold the Microphone Mute button for >13 seconds
  • In Power On mode, press and hold 'Volume+' together with 'Play/Pause' for more than 2 seconds. The speaker will power off and is now reset.
  • There are two steps in the calibration
    1. Place the surround speakers beside your seating position and press the CALIBR button on the remote control. Follow the instruction to start the 1st calibration
    2. After the 1st calibration done, place the surround speakers in your desired location and press CALIBR on the remote control to start the 2nd calibration
  • Bluetooth Pairing

    1. Press the BT button button on the Partybox to start the pairing process.
    2. Grab your mobile device.
    3. Go to settings --> Bluetooth --> Enable Bluetooth --> BT ON
    4. Find the Partybox speaker you want to establish a Bluetooth connection to.

    1. You now have a successful connection and can stream your favorite music.
      1. NOTE: It is only possible to have two devices connected at the same time and if you want to listen through the second Bluetooth device then stop the current one from playing and use the second device.
      2. To stop Bluetooth broadcasting then insert a USB device.

    1. To control the Light show on your JBL Partybox device, simply press the dedicated "Light show" button located under the Bluetooth icon. There are 3 different light shows available when toggling through them, select your favorite one and have a blast. There is no app developed to control or modify these settings, all settings have to be done on the Partybox device.
    2. Visit your App store to download the ‘Google Assistant’ App.

      After you have paired your JBL headphones to your device via Bluetooth, you should receive a pop-up notification (pictured below). Please tap the notification on your device to start the Google Assistant setup. You will now be directed to the Google Assistant App.

      Follow the steps to connect and pair “JBL XXXX-LE” with the Google Assistant App, the name will depend on your model.
      Once set up is complete, you will see the below screen:

      PLEASE NOTE: To verbally interact with your Google Assistant via the headphone, you must turn on the ‘Spoken Notifications’ in the Google Assistant App. This can be found under Assistant Devices > Notifications. Alternatively, your JBL headphones can be added to the Google Assistant App manually by adding them as a Bluetooth device if this was not done when first paired. Google Assistant must be selected as your chosen voice assistant in the settings of the My JBL Headphones App also.

    3. If not pre-installed on your Android device, visit your App store to download the ‘Google Assistant’ App.

      After you have paired your JBL headphones to your device via Bluetooth, you should receive a pop-up notification (pictured below). Please tap the notification on your device to start the Google Assistant setup. You will now be directed to the Google Assistant App.

    4. Visit the App Store and download the ‘Amazon Alexa’ App.

      1. Click the Plus(+) button on the top right of the screen.
      2. Then select ‘Add Device‘.
      3. Select headphones from the list and then choose your Headphones from the list of available devices.
      4. Follow the rest of the instructions in the Alexa App to complete the setup.
    5. You can enjoy streaming your favorite music over WiFi to your JBL BAR 5.1 Surround by adding it to your network.

      Connecting to WiFi
      • Turn on your soundbar.
      • Download the Google Home app to your phone.
        • Available on Android and Apple.
      • Enable Bluetooth, Location services on your Android device.
      • Enable Bluetooth on your Apple device.
      • Open Google Home app
      • Follow the instructions given in the app.
      You are now connected to your WiFi network and can enjoy streaming music to your system.
    6. You can enjoy streaming your favorite music over WiFi to your JBL BAR 9.1 Surround by adding it to your network. Turn on your soundbar. Download the Google Home app to your phone. Enable Bluetooth and Location services on your device. Open Google Home app Follow the instructions given in the app. You are now connected to your WiFi network and can enjoy streaming music to your system. The soundbar will now be able to automatically update, to make sure the performance is the best at all times.
    7. To successfully connect the JBL Wireless Microphone Set to a Partybox, connect the supplied 6.3mm jack dongle to the Partybox's Microphone Input. Now turn on the dongle and the Partybox. The dongle's Power button light should stay lit, if the light turns off or does not stay lit it is off and needs to be charged with the provided USB cable.*

      Now turn on one or both microphones as required and increase the Mic volume and gain to the desired level. The LED screen will show a channel number 'CH-1', 'CH-2', etc. The channel number is not changeable manually, and may change between power cycles, but all channels will connect automatically to the dongle. If the LED screens do not show a channel number, the batteries in the microphones need to be replaced.

      *Charging the dongle while in use is not recommended and will likely cause unwanted interference.
