The display will timeout and switch off automatically after 30 seconds if no buttons are pressed to preserve battery life, but pressing any button will wake the display again. It is not possible to change or switch off the automatic display timeout.
The speaker itself will turn off automatically after 15 minutes inactive, if no music is playing on any mode or button are pressed (not possible to change).Was this helpful? Thank you for your feedback! -
To reset your JBL Tuner simply Long press Volume+ and Bluetooth button for 5-7 seconds. Your Tuner is now successfully reset and you can Bluetooth pair with it again.Was this helpful? Thank you for your feedback!

To show the current firmware version on your JBL TUNER device, go through the following steps.
- Turn on the JBL TUNER.
- Press and hold this three-button combination: DAB/FM+ Volume+ and Preset 5, simultaneously for 3-4 seconds.
- In the display, you will see a combination of letters and numbers. This is the current software version.
- See picture below as illustration.
The new firmware version released is V.0.0.57 (shown in the picture above).
To get the latest version, ask our customer service for a guide and an upgrade file.
