  • JBL Safe Sound is an added parental control toy can use in the JBL Headphones app. You can set the max volume and for how long kids can listen for. With "time-up" reminders, parents can even record their own voice prompt notifications.


    It's also possible to receive daily and weekly activity reports on volume and time exposure to help maintain safe listening habits.


    A PIN Code protects the max volume limit and daily time limit from being modified.

  • HDCP stands for High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection. In short term, this is used to protect 4K material from illegal pirating. Every device in your chain system, must support HDCP 2.2, meaning if your 4K Blue-Ray player has HDCP 2.2, then your Soundbar must support it (SB450 does) and TV as well, or else you won't see any 4K material. In case your TV do not support HDCP 2.2, then it will downscale to 1080P content, this is done by the Blue-Ray player.
  • Dolby Atmos is a 3D surround sound format.
    Using Dolby Atmos, the soundbar can reproduce multi-channel surround sound, including a virtual height channel.

With the unique JBL solution, the user can adjust the level of the ambient noise up or down, and the balance from left to right, so that they are in full control of how loud the ambient sound is in each earcup.
  • "Sports Mode" enhances your work-out experience by adapting the ambient sound level and the EQ settings. This feature can be turned on in the JBL Headphones app. "Sports Mode" include outdoor walking, hiking, outdoor running, elliptical, indoor running and functional training.

    When "Sports Mode" is turned on, the Ambient Sound Control and the assigned gestures will be temporarily disabled. Both Ambient Sound Control and the assigned gestures will be turned on again once "Sports Mode" is turned off.

  • If the USB port gets too wet, the case will stop charging to avoid the temperature becoming too high.

    If the USB port on the case detects liquid, you can see a white flash from the LED lighting bar.

  • You can access your Assistant history if you go to My Activity (myactivity.google.com) or the My Activity link in the Google Home app to view what you have asked and delete it if you want.
  • All speakers are set to react when you use the keywords to interact with Google. To eliminate multiple speakers talking at the same time, using the "Microphone Mute" button will stop the speaker from reacting to the keywords.
