(The Secondary position is used for systems where four speakers are in use, since only one speaker can act as primary speaker.)
  • The most important thing, is to be sure that both blue LEDs must flash quickly, one on the center speaker, one on the subwoofer. If just one of these LEDs does not flash quickly, pairing cannot take place. • During the design phase, it was decided to optimize BT reception, which is achieved by buffering digital signal streams. Since this takes a little bit of time, a slight delay will be the result. We have now optimized the software, so the lip-sync problem is no longer an issue. Video materials can now be watched with proper audio timing. Please check the product support page "downloads" tab for your headphone to check for the update files. If you experience delay, even after performing the update, please be aware that delays can occur for several reasons. For instance, the Bluetooth transmitter in a TV set can introduce delay. Also, some TV sets can cause timing changes if certain image processes are used. Try to disengage image processing, and check if lip-sync adjustment is available in your TV. With YouTube or other streaming services: In cases of lip-sync issues, it may also be a good idea to carry out a refresh of the source website. Always try more than one streaming source to determine if the delay comes from the streaming service or from you connection.

  • The quality of content depends on your Internet bandwidth. The minimum Internet speed is at least 25Mbps (megabit per second) or above for the best performance.
When using the LINK BAR to the WiFi router, always use 5 GHz WiFi band for highest performance at any time.

If you are still struggling with the quality of your content, then we have added an Ethernet port (LAN connection), which allows you to wire the LINK BAR for a steadier connection and performance.

    More actionable advice:
    • Limit your device(s) at night or when you are streaming content that requires the best performance possible!
    • Upgrade older product that could cause slow data transfer.
    • Move devices that are capable of connecting to 5 GHz WiFi and leave "Legacy" product on 2.4 GHz only.
    • Upgrade your router. Upgrading to a newer generation router is cheap and effective way to improve your home network in every way. It provides both a better Wi-Fi range and stronger signal.
    • We are recommending that you go for a mid to high-level Wi-Fi router.
  • When using an Android device, you need to have location service active on your phone or tablet and make sure that you allowed "Google Home app" to use the phone or tablet location service. However, make sure your Wi-Fi router has UPnP enabled and that you do not use any network extenders while connecting the product.
  • Often, hum is caused by a ground loop. This is a problem that is sometimes created when connecting two or more electrical components together. Sometimes the problem does not lie in any one particular unit, but in how they're connected. If your subwoofer is connected to a different wall outlet than your system, try to move the subwoofer plug to the same outlet. This may require an extension cord just for the trial. If it works, you can permanently move the sub or use an extension cord. However, if the hum you are hearing is coming from inside the sub, or if it is constant even when nothing is connected to the inputs of the sub, there is something wrong with the sub and you should bring it in for service.
  • The system features an automatic mute function that becomes active after 10 seconds of no signal activity. Since the output level varies greatly between different genres and recording levels, it is highly recommended to set your source volume levels above 4, or preferably at mid-level, then controlling the listening level using the volume control provided in the speaker system.
  • The new Boombox 2 does not feature the Indoor/Outdoor Mode. With the first generation Boombox, the Outdoor Mode was loud, but lacking sufficient bass. The Boombox 2 has both improved bass and loudness to create the perfect balanced sound for all environments.

  • There can be differences in the internal hardware that also implies different firmwares. These products feature the same specifications and performance expectations. If the app does not inform you of any new updates, the firmware is current and the product is performing as designed.
