If you are having trouble with distortion or drop outs, try the following suggestions:
Move the audio source closer to the speakers
Move the speakers closer to each other
Make sure the streaming speaker (host) only connects to one audio source, disconnect the Bluetooth connection between the streaming speaker (host) and other audio source
Make sure the audio source only connects with one streaming speaker (host), disconnect the Bluetooth connection between the audio source and other speakers
Restart both your speakers and the audio source
Make sure speakers are away from other sources of wireless signal – you could be experiencing interference
Re-pair the audio source with your speaker

Check to see if it happens with all source devices (TV, BluRay, DVD, etc.). If it only happens with one device and not the other, the issue may be with that device. The Elite headphones are equipped with an auto off capability to preserve battery life when not in use. The headphones will automatically turn off after 10 minutes of inactivity: meaning no audio or voice. In situations where the user would like to enjoy the benefits of the ANC technology only - when not listening to music or talking on the phone , we advise to turn off the Auto Off feature in the app to keep the headphone running continuously.Was this helpful? Instructions for software upgrade
- Download the latest software version from JBL.com and bin file: Unify.BIN
- Prepare one empty USB Stick and create a new folder (named “UPG”) in the root directory, then copy the bin file to the new UPG folder.
- Please mount the two detachable speakers onto the main Soundbar and subwoofer upgrade port to AUX input, then power on the Soundbar.
- Please insert the USB Stick into the Soundbar USB port on its rear panel and long-press: [POWER] and [VOL- ] on the Soundbar for 10 seconds to start the software upgrade. Wait for the software upgrade to complete. The Soundbar will go back to standby mode.
- To Check Software version:
- Press and hold the DIM DISPLAY button on the remote control for 5 seconds in any source, followed by the short press of the SOUND MODE and then the short press of the NIGHT MODE button.
- To check the subwoofer software version, please connect the subwoofer to Soundbar via a 3.5mm AUX-in cable and follow the above procedure

Instructions for software upgrade
Via USB upgrade:
- Download the latest software version from JBL.com with the below 3 files;
- checksum.txt
- update.zip
- update.zip.sign
- Prepare one empty USB Stick and copy the 3 files in the root directory;
- Please insert the USB Stick into the Soundbar USB port and press: [SOURCE] and [VOL+] button on the Soundbar to start the software upgrade. Wait for the software upgrade to complete. Once completed, the Soundbar will restart;
- To check the software version, press and hold the [SOURCE] and [VOL-] button on the Soundbar for 10 seconds.
Via auto update over Wi-Fi:- Connect Wi-Fi to your soundbar using the JBL One app.
- Once the the soundbar is in standby mode, the software will automatically update.
