  • How can I connect a stereo source?

    EON 208P:

    Two of the inputs are made for stereo use:
    CH 5/6 with volume control and ¼” phone plugs or RCA plugs, and
    CH 7/8 with volume control and ¼” phone plugs or 3.5 mm stereo input.

    Also, the Bluetooth wireless input is stereo.

    EON ONE:
     Two of the inputs are made for stereo use:
     CH 3/4 with volume control and ¼” phone plugs or RCA plugs, and
     CH 5/6 without volume control and 3.5 mm input jack

     Also, the Bluetooth wireless input is stereo.
  • How can I check the software version on my Flip3, Flip4 or Xtreme??
    By pressing Volume - & JBL Connect button for 3 seconds. A voice will tell you the current software version.
  • Hearing the difference between Stereo and Surround Sound
    Make sure your headset is configured correctly in your Windows settings. The setting should normally be JBL Quantum *Game* to experience QuantumSURROUND.

  • Headphones & Third Party Communication Apps (Skype, Zoom, WhatsApp, etc)

    If you are experiencing issues getting the app to communicate with your headphones, (assuming you have already paired the headphones with the device) go into the communication apps audio settings. You will likely find the resolution there. You may have to set your headphones as the ‘communication device’ within the app you are using. 

  • Functionality of Bass/Treble/Echo Buttons/Dials
    The Bass, Treble and Echo buttons/dials on the control panel on top of the Partybox only applies these effects to the Microphone for Karaoke use.

    These effects are not applied to other sources or inputs such as Bluetooth, Aux or USB, the Equalizer must be used in the JBL Partybox app for this (on supported models).

    Also, if more bass is desired, there is a Bass Boost button on the top control panel (with 2 levels of Bass Boost: Off, Level 1 & Level 2, switched through pressing the button multiple times). This will be applied to the sources and inputs mentioned above (but not the microphone).
  • Factory Reset Information
    First, remove the speaker from your source device's Bluetooth settings.
    Power on the speaker, then press and hold the Volume + button and Bluetooth button together for 3-5 seconds until the speaker turns off.
    Once turned off, the speaker has been reset to the factory default settings.
  • Endurance Series Headphones: Track Control
    To pause/play press the "L" on the JBL logo located on the RIGHT ear for 1 second. If you want to skip the track forward, press the "L" on the JBL logo on the RIGHT ear hook for 2 seconds. To skip tracks backward, press the "L" on the JBL logo on the RIGHT ear hook for 3-4 seconds.
  • Endurance Series Headphones: Pairing Information
    If connecting for the first time, the headphone will enter pairing mode automatically after it is powered on. To turn the headphones on, simply spread apart the RIGHT power hook from the cord. You will see solid red LED and then it will flash blue as it begins to search for a device to connect to. The Endurance headphone should pop up on your discoverable devices within a few seconds and you should be connected! If you wish to turn off the headphones, remove them from your ear and allow the RIGHT power hook and cord to close together. This is magnetized, so they should close together with ease.
  • Endurance Series Headphones: Apt X
    The Endurance headphones do not support Apt X or AAC audio codecs.
  • Enabling or disabling Demo mode.

    1. Press the Play and Boost button at the same time for 5 seconds.
    2. Depending on what state your JBL Partybox is in, either you enter Demo mode or disabling it.
      1. NOTE: In Demo mode, you cannot use the JBL Partybox as most features and buttons are not working.

  • Ear Pad Cleaning Information
    The ear pads can be removed and washed.
    To remove the ear pads, rotate them anti-clockwise to unlock (see image below).

    The ear pads must be hand washed only, do not machine wash - the water temperature used should be in the range specified below. Then wait for the ear pads to fully dry.

    Once fully dry, align the holes on the inside of the ear pads (highlighted with orange circles in the image below) with the clips on the headphones (located where the red arrows are pointing in the image below), now rotate the ear pad clockwise to lock the ear pads to the headphones again.

  • E55BT Headphones: Track Information
    To skip the tracks forward, you press and hold the volume up button for 3 seconds. To skip tracks backward, press and hold the volume down button for 3 seconds.
  • DSP 4086 Tuning Software Crashing/Not Responding

    If your DSP Tuning Software is not responding properly or is crashing, it is likely because the proper USB driver has not yet been installed.  There is an easy fix for this, and it does not require you to uninstall anything.

     
    1. If the tuning software is open, close it.
    2. Go back to your software install files and double-click on “USB Driver”.

    NOTE: Make sure to allow it to make changes to your computer if your anti-virus software requests it.

    1. After the driver is installed, reopen the software.  Your problem should be resolved.
  • Do you have to be connected bluetooth for the calling features to work?
    Yes. Pair your device with the speaker via bluetooth.
  • Do you have replacement cables available for my Everest headphones?
    Cables and other spare parts for EVEREST can be obtained from either the distributors or from authorized service centers. Please contact Harman Customer Support to get the necessary contact details.
  • Do the normal BT models have voice prompt, or can it be changed?
    Yes , all 5 models have voice prompts. The Elite models have the added option of turning off the voice prompts in the settings menu of the app. The Everest 300 and 700, as well as the successors 310 and 710, have the option of choosing between voice prompts and tone prompts. This is how you do it: Switch the headphones ON. Press and hold the Shareme and the Volume Plus buttons for about two seconds. Switch the headphones OFF. You will now hear the OFF prompt having changed to the prompt you did not use before, and you will hear this one until you change it again.
  • Do the Flip 4 and Charge 3 float in water?
    No, the IP waterproof specification means that these speakers can be immersed in water 1 m deep for 30 minutes. It does not mean that they can float, so please be careful. If dropped, they will sink to the bottom.
  • Do the Everest Series headphones support AAC or aptX?
    Sorry, neither AAC nor aptX are supported.
  • Do the Everest headphones need to be fully charged before attempting the update?
    It is not a bad idea to have the headphone charged before updating, but only if it is completely empty will there be any difference. To update via cable, a USB cable connection must be established between the headphone and the computer, and since the cable is also used for charging, there will be power to the headphone as long as it is connected to the computer. If the battery is depleted, it may be necessary to wait a little while, until a basic level of charging has been reached. Please note that the ELITE models with the most recent software permit wireless upgrade, directly from the control app on a smartphone. In this case, it is of course necessary to have power enough in the battery to sustain the whole upgrading process, since it takes place without cable.
  • Do the Everest headphones have to be powered on before you connect them to the computer?
    No, the tool will tell you to switch them ON when necessary.
  • Do the Everest and Everest Elite headphones support AAC or aptX?
    Sorry, neither AAC nor aptX are supported.
  • Do JBL Club Headphones Support aptX?
    JBL Club headphones do not support aptX. There are a number of different platforms available and our choice was driven by the one that provides the combination of best sound quality and user experience. The platform that we have selected perfectly fits the requirements of the JBL Club series including voice integration and audio customization whilst supplying the Hi Res-certified headphones with the quality of audio they deserve.
  • Do I need to link my Google account to my JBL LINK 10, 20, 300 or 500?
  • Do I need to close the USB cap for the speaker to be waterproof?
    Yes, it is needed to close the USB cap completely for waterproof.
  • Do I need to charge from a certain kind of charger, or can I use all USB sockets?
    Each headphone is shipped with a micro USB charging cable. USB is the only way to charge the headphones, and all normal USB chargers may be used.
  • Do I have the option to control the volume from the detachable inline remote cable?
    Unfortunately, there is no volume control on the inline microphone. You have the options to answer phone calls, skip tracks and pause and play.
  • Does Trunote work only when ANC is ON?
    Yes, ANC needs to be ON.
  • Does this speaker have an Aux Input?
    This speaker does not have an Aux Input, so no analog connection is possible.
  • Does the US Train feature an audio cable?
    Yes. The UA Train features a detachable audio cable with a one button remote. (Please note: you cannot use bluetooth or TalkThru when using the cable connection.)
  • Does the T110BT have volume control?
    Yes, the T110BT features a three button inline microphone which allows you to pause/play skip tracks, answer calls and control the volume.
  • Does the Soundgear support aptX?
    Yes, Soundgear supports aptX LL (Low Latency). (aptX is a way of packing more information into a compressed version of a signal).
