  • To set up and enjoy all the features of your UA Sport Wireless Heart Rate, you’ll need to connect it to your phone using the UA Record™ mobile app. Select the UA Sync icon in the upper right hand corner of the dashboard. Tap on “UA Sport Wireless Heart Rate”. Follow the on-screen instructions to finish setup. Once connected, the headphones will live under My Apps and Devices. Here, you can access your headphones' settings to check your battery level, current heart rate, and help.
  • • Plug the JBL DRG into OBD II port in your vehicle first. • Start your engine (JBL DRG will enter low power mode when the engine is off) • Then press Bluetooth button on DRG for pairing and connection to your smartphone. • After connected, launch the “JBL DRG” app on your smartphone. • Press the settings button on the left top of the app to enter the settings page. If your head unit’s Bluetooth is in discoverable mode, please enable the “Inquiry Mode” on the settings page. If your head unit’s Bluetooth is in inquiry mode, please disable “Inquiry Mode” on the settings page. • Exit the settings page and select “Bluetooth” in “Connection Mode”, JBL DRG will start the connection with head unit.
  • • Make sure that JBL DRG is connected via Bluetooth with your smartphone and the JBL DRG” app has been launched. • Search a FM frequency band with your head unit. (an unrestricted frequency would be one that is not occupied by a radio station). • Select “FM” in “Connection Mode” on the JBL DRG App and key in the FM unrestricted frequency you have selected in the right window, JBL DRG will then transfer audio to your head unit and play through your vehicle’s audio system.
  • To clean yurbuds, remove the enhancers (tips) from earphones and wash with warm, soapy water. Do not use anything containing alcohol.   • Go to your Bluetooth Settings to confirm that you are connected to both JBL Reflect Fit Audio and JBL Reflect Fit HRM. Once you are connected to the Reflect Fit HRM you will hear the audio voice prompt state, "Searching for Heart Rate"......"Calibrating" followed by a heart beat prompt. It will calibrate for 2-5 seconds followed by "Heart Rate Detected". If it cannot verify your heart rate, the audio voice prompt will advise you to adjust the ear piece. Once it has established your heart rate, you will be able to manually check your heart rate by pressing the heart button located on the RIGHT arm of the neck band.
  • The UA Sport Wireless Heart Rate must be charged with a micro USB charger that is provided in the packaging. You will find the USB outlet located on the bottom left side of the inline microphone. There will be a small rubberized window that you can slide up and over to expose the outlet. After plugging in the headphones, you will see a solid red light appear at the bottom of the inline microphone. Once the headphones are fully charged, the red light will turn off. It typically takes less than 2 hours of charging time to receive the 5 full hours of audio playback.
  • The USB charging port will be located on the inline microphone located on the RIGHT side of the earphones.
  • To answer and hang up calls, press the pause/play button located on the left arm of the Soundgear.
  • To increase the volume, quickly press the top button located on the inline microphone with several quick clicks. If you want to decrease the volume, quickly press the bottom button with several quick clicks until desired volume is achieved.

  • Make sure the headphones are turned on and connected to your smart device. Press and hold the Microphone button located on the LEFT arm of the neckband. You should be able to activate Siri/Google within 3 seconds after pressing the Microphone button.
  • If you want to pair and connect to a different device, make sure the headphones are turned off. Proceed to turn the headphones on by pressing and holding the power button for 3- 5 seconds until you hear the audible voice stating “power on” followed by “looking for device.” You will see the LED alternate between blue and red as it searches for your new device. Make sure your device is in search mode. Within seconds your headphone should appear as one of your discoverable devices. You will then hear the audible voice stating, “audio connected” followed by a blinking blue LED light located on the inline microphone indicating that it is now connected to a device.
  • After pressing the Play button, you must wait 3 seconds before you can press the Play button again when listening to videos over AirPlay.

  • Press the microphone button (located on the LEFT arm) to turn on the first RunSafe mode. The first mode blinks continually. When you press the microphone again, the second mode is initiated which features 2 blinks on followed by 2 seconds without. Pressing the microphone again is the third mode which is 3 blinks on followed by 3 seconds without.
  • BT sources are volume controlled by the Primary Volume control. BT volume relative to other sources must be adjusted either on the BT source or on the mixer’s input volume controls. Bluetooth does not occupy any of the other inputs.
  • Plug the 2.4Ghz dongle directly into your device and device is connected to your phone.

    The lightning version of the dongle works for Apple devices while the USB C dongle works for Android devices and the latest Apple devices with an USB C port.

  • For models E40BT and E50BT Connect the first headphone by BT to your mobile device Tap the ShareMe button once Tap the ShareMe button on the 2nd headphones twice ( ! ) The headphones will connect to each other. When changing volume on source device, or BT connected headphones, the volume will only change on THAT headphone ( and in some cases the source device, like iOS devices and newer Android ), not on the one connected via ShareMe. When changing volume on a via-ShareMe-connected headphone ( 2nd ), it will not change volume on source device, or on the BT-connected headphone. To sum up, both headphones have their individual volumes. For Everest models ( not ELITE ). Connect the headphones by BT to your mobile device Put the 2nd device ( speaker, headphones as long as they have Bluetooth ) in "BT discovery mode" Press the ShareMe button on the Everest headphone ( button marked with a little "s" ) The Everest will connect to BT device. (Please note that you may not be able to pair from the Everest to the Everest Elite models, or if you can pair, you may have dropouts in sound). When changing volume on source device, or Everest, the volume will only change on the Everest ( and in some cases the source device, like iOS devices and newer Android ), not on the device connected via ShareMe. When changing volume on via-ShareMe-connected BT device ( 2nd ), it will not change volume on source device or Everest. Please note that it is NOT possible to use ShareMe if you are listening to analog signal via cable. Bot the E-series and the Everest models will switch off the Bluetooth circuits as soon as you insert the audio cable, so re-transmission is not possible.
  • Let's say you have 4 LINK devices in your home and you start your day with "OK Google, How is the weather?".
    All of your devices will "light up" and start listening to the command. However, only one of the speakers will give you the information (if they are under the same account).
    The speaker with the best microphone reception will respond with an answer.

    Please note: if you have muted all speakers or 3 out of 4 are muted, then only one will respond and the rest will not react.
    If all speakers are muted, all will be silent.
  • Harman Volume on the Cinema Base has no levels, it's either on or off. It will remember the last setting when it's powered on. When you enable Harman Volume, you will hear audio feedback ( 4 tones going up when you turn it on, and 4 tones going down when you turn it off ) There is no visual indication that shows if it's on or off
  • With the IPX7 rating, you can use them in water down to a depth of one meter, for maximum 30 minutes.
  • The JBL Quantum TWS works on most mobile devices, however, some mobile devices restrict the utilization of it's audio and microphone functions via USB-C causing there to be no audio or microphone operation. In these cases we recommend connecting to the earbuds using their Bluetooth connection.

However, this process requires two mobile smartphones, one as the "mobile hotspot" and the second to connect the JBL Link 10 or Link 20 to your network.

  • To play the surround sound with DOLBY ATMOS or DTS:X, connect your Blu-ray player or other digital device to the HDMI input connector on the soundbar. If the TV support Dolby ATMOS, served over HDMI ARC, just make sure it is selected in the TV setting menu. To select the most suitable amount of sound effect of DOLBY ATMOS and DTS:X, press on the remote control ATMOS level button, to switch between MID, HIGH, LOW or OFF. Note: If your TV has an eARC HDMI input, you can connect your Blu-ray player or other digital device to the HDMI IN connector on the TV.
  • On the back of the SB150 subwoofer, you will find a "pair" button. Hold down the pair button for 3 seconds. It will start flashing amber rapidly, indicating that the pairing mode has begun. You don't need to press other buttons to make a connection, once the amber light is steady, it is connected to your SB150 soundbar.
  • If you are not using the microphone, make sure that any communication software such as Zoom, Skype, Discord, etc. are closed and that your microphone is muted. You can also take advantage of it's Dual Connect feature and place one of the earbuds in the charging case and speed charge the earbuds to extend the playback time.
  • Unfortunately, the JBL AmpUp App is no longer available for download.
  • After setting up one or both voice assistants on your JBL Authentics speaker, you must make sure that you have connected your supported music service account to your Amazon and/or Google account in the Alexa and Google Home apps.


    For Alexa, if you then set one of the music services as default in the Alexa app settings, you can play music from this service just by asking Alexa to play music.

  • Once the speaker/soundbar is connected to the network, software updates will automatically be sent to the product through Wi-Fi or the internet, if available
  • To get the full potential of the HDMI content/source you have in your home, then you need to enable HDMI UHD deep color option on your TV for the HDMI output port (ARC).

    Since there are tons of different TVs and manufactures out there, the best way to see if your TV can use 10-bit color on HDMI, is to read the TV's manual or call their support section.
  • This headphone does not have volume control. It features a one button in-line remote that enables you to pause/play, skip tracks and answer/hang up phone calls. The microphone that is built into the remote permits use as headset with a mobile phone.
  • Place the USB wireless dongle in the USB-C connector of your device and place the earbuds in your ears. The earbuds will automatically connect to your USB wireless dongle. If the earbuds don't pair automatically you can manually pair them again by connecting the JBL Quantum TWS to a mobile device via Bluetooth and open the JBL Headphones app. Turn on the "Dongle Pairing" mode and then press the pairing button on the USB wireless dongle. (Note: USB wireless dongle needs to be connected to an activated device). You will get a message on your JBL Headphones app that the pairing is successful and then press "Understood".

    On either unit, to toggle HOTEL mode ON or OFF, press and hold Alarm 1 and Preset 1. The LCD indicator will show the HOTEL status, ON or OFF.

     

    The unit will retain this setting, even when unplugged. The only way to change the mode is to press and hold the two buttons again. Or course, a Factory Reset will also restore to the original out-of-the-box setting.

     

    When HOTEL mode is ON, these are the following changes that occur.

     

    • Alarm can only be set for a single day.
    • Alarm will ONLY work as a buzzer.
    • A Room Number can be set.
    • A Max Alarm Volume can be set.
    • Bluetooth cannot auto-reconnect.
  • To turn off the Horizon 2, Press the 'DAB/FM' button until no radio is playing.
    This works in the order (from standby/off): DAB / FM / Off.

    In Bluetooth mode, if the phone or tablet is disconnected, or nothing is played for 10 minutes, the Horizon 2 will go into standby mode automatically (not changeable).
  • To stop hearing your own voice through your headphones, please start the JBL QuantumENGINE software, navigate to the "Microphone" tab, and change the sidetone setting to 0.
  • Make sure your headset is configured correctly in your Windows settings. The setting should normally be JBL Quantum *Game* to experience QuantumSURROUND.

  • If you are experiencing issues getting the app to communicate with your headphones, (assuming you have already paired the headphones with the device) go into the communication apps audio settings. You will likely find the resolution there. You may have to set your headphones as the ‘communication device’ within the app you are using.
