  • Can I add a subwoofer to EON 208P?
    Yes, please use the SUBWOOFER ¼” socket on the main panel to connect an additional subwoofer. This is an unfiltered output, so you will need an active (amplified) subwoofer with its own crossover network.
  • Can I connect my EON speaker to a computer with Bluetooth?
    Yes, provided that your computer supports A2DP Stereo audio streaming over Bluetooth, you can connect to JBL EON 208P and EON ONE. If your computer can connect to a mouse, a keyboard or a printer with Bluetooth, but not the EON speaker, please check if A2DP is supported. If it is not, ask the provider or manufacturer of your computer how to establish A2DP support.
  • Can I record directly from the 208P?
    Yes, use the MONITOR OUT sockets (1/4” and RCA are available on 208P, RCA on ONE) to feed into a recording device. Please note that these outputs are volume controlled, so set the volume correctly, depending on the sensitivity of the recording device.
  • Does it have phantom power for microphones?
    Yes, EON 208P has a selector switch where you can turn phantom power on/off when needed for condenser microphones on CH1 and CH2.
  • Does the JBL EON ONE and JBL EON 208P have a battery built in, or do they both need to be connected to mains power?
    Both of these JBL PRO speaker models need mains power. There is no battery inside.
  • How can I connect a stereo source?

    EON 208P:

    Two of the inputs are made for stereo use:
    CH 5/6 with volume control and ¼” phone plugs or RCA plugs, and
    CH 7/8 with volume control and ¼” phone plugs or 3.5 mm stereo input.

    Also, the Bluetooth wireless input is stereo.

    EON ONE:
     Two of the inputs are made for stereo use:
     CH 3/4 with volume control and ¼” phone plugs or RCA plugs, and
     CH 5/6 without volume control and 3.5 mm input jack

     Also, the Bluetooth wireless input is stereo.
  • How does the Bluetooth input work?
    BT sources are volume controlled by the Primary Volume control. BT volume relative to other sources must be adjusted either on the BT source or on the mixer’s input volume controls. Bluetooth does not occupy any of the other inputs.
  • Which type of AKG microphone comes with the 208P?
    It is a model made for vocal use.
