JBL Control® Monitor speakers incorporate innovative, proprietary new technologies to deliver monitor-accurate reproduction with minimal distortion in many different applications. They are perfect for use in home theater systems, as part of a home recording studio or anywhere else you demand clean, natural, accurate sound. JBL Control Monitor speakers are available in a black finish with a rugged, black metal grille. A wall-mount bracket is included for each speaker.
JBL engineers designed the Control Monitor loudspeaker to produce accurate, full-range sound from a receiver or amplifier capable of delivering up to 240 watts of power.
They’re low profile at just 10 inches high, 6.63 inches wide and 8.5 inches deep. Yet the two-way speaker design and quality cones reproduce a wide range of frequencies for realistic, room-filling, can’t-believe-your-ears imaging.
Stiffer cones deliver more uniform pistonic motion for deeper, tighter bass and improved midranges. The PolyPlas™ woofer gives maximum impact to JBL® audio, along with a 1.5-inch voice coil. You’ll experience serious, feel-it-in-your-bones bass.
Elliptical Oblate Spheroidal™ (EOS) waveguides, originally developed for JBL® Pro LSR studio monitors, disperse clean, high frequency sound more precisely across a wider listening area. There’s no “sweet spot.” Sit wherever you want.
With the 1-inch soft dome tweeter and PolyPlas™ woofer, what you hear is true. Delivering a frequency response of 50Hz to 40kHz, JBL® Control® Monitor speakers reproduce the full range of sound from deep bass tones to ultra-high frequencies. Nothing is over- or underemphasized.
These speakers feature 240W peak power, 2400Hz crossover frequency and 87dB sensitivity. You get distortion-free reproduction of your favorite music, even at high volumes. You have fun.
Put the JBL® Control® Monitor anywhere that makes sense in your home theater set-up. The speakers are magnetically shielded for placement on the floor or wherever you want them, including right near your TV or video display.
