  • The most important thing, is to be sure that both blue LEDs must flash quickly, one on the center speaker, one on the subwoofer. If just one of these LEDs does not flash quickly, pairing cannot take place. If it is difficult to make one of the LEDs change to quick flash, it may be that the button is held too long, or not pressed in the right angle. Try again with a short, firm press less then a second.
  • Look at the back of the primary speaker, which is the one with pause/play and volume controls. You will see a switch called "mode". This switch can be in either S or P position. S stands for Secondary, P stands for Primary. Switch to Primary, and your speaker will now open Bluetooth and will accept analog signals. (The Secondary position is used for systems where four speakers are in use, since only one speaker can act as primary speaker.)
  • Try resetting the device, and remove the Bluetooth device on your source device in the settings. Now Bluetooth-pair with it again. If the unit still does not work as intended, please contact our helpdesk.
  • If the pairing mode is not succesful, please move the subwoofer closer to your SB150. The pairing process can take up to 30 seconds before a connection has been established.
  • Please check that Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa are installed on your device.
Try to repeat the setup process.
Also, switching the headphones off and on once or twice may solve the problem.
  • It sounds like you are living in a country where Google Assistant has not yet been officially released. When Google releases the Google Assistant to more countries, the Everest GA headphones will open up for this feature. It may require a software update for this to happen. For now, you can use them as normal Bluetooth headphones and wait for the release to use the Google Assistant feature.
  • The TV turns on with the soundbar. This is caused by CEC commands from your TV via the HDMI port. Please disable these functions on your TV, to use the soundbar while TV is off.
  • To use Chromecast, you must continue the setup in the Google Home app first.
Configuring the speaker only with Apple WAC will not enable the Chromecast feature.
For this to happen, you must sign-in with your Google account.

You can quickly try out the Chromecast feature, and if you do not like it, reset your Citation or LINK speaker, and redo the configuration part on your Apple device.
  • Please keep the app running during a firmware upgrade. This is because the app is using BLE to transfer firmware to the JBL DRG. If you exit or kill the app, this will cause the BLE connection to be broken and the upgrade will not complete.
  • To use the Spotify Connect feature for JBL Playlist, a premium Spotify account is required. Please visit www.Spotify.com/freetrial for 30 days of complimentary premium account trial for first time users.
  • JBL DRG will auto reconnect to the last device. To setup a connection with new Bluetooth head unit, press the “reset” button in the App. The device will then search for a discoverable Bluetooth connection and setup.
  • Close and reopen the app. This will ensure that the app recognizes the headphones.
