With total peak power of 240 watts, the JBL®GT5-A402 – a two-channel, full-range amplifier with bass equalization – is big in power even though it’s small in size: only 2-1/8 inches (54 millimeters) high, 9-1/4 inches (235 millimeters) wide and 7-1/2 inches (191 millimeters) deep. Its features include an electronic crossover to ensure a smooth transition from low tones to high, bass boost to give its low frequencies extra power, a cast-aluminum heatsink to keep the unit’s temperature under control and full-range preamp outputs to allow for multiple amplifier hookups without requiring you to buy high-loss Y-adapters or signal splitters. The result of all this high technology is studio-quality audio in your car. Your favorite behind-the-wheel songs will sound like new.

At 2-1/8 inches (54 millimeters) high, 9-1/4 inches (235 millimeters) wide and 7-1/2 inches (191 millimeters) deep, the two-channel JBL® GT5-A402 full-range amplifier is a real space-saver. It’s so small that you can put it almost anywhere inside your car.
Want to upgrade your car’s sound system? The JBL® GT5-A402 amplifier has the muscle for the job: 120 watts of RMS power and a peak power rating of 240 watts. And it comes with a cast-aluminum heatsink to keep all that power from overheating your system.
The JBL® GT5-A402 lets you control the transition between bass tones and the rest of the audio-frequency range. The amplifier has a built-in electronic crossover-frequency control that allows you to set the crossover point between 32Hz and 320Hz.
You won’t need high-loss Y-adapters or signal splitters to hook your JBL® GT5-A402 amp up to other components. Whether you want two-channel or one-channel (bridged) operation, the GT5-A402 offers RCA connectors to make your hookups easy.
The JBL® GT5-A402 amp’s bass-boost switch provides 6 decibels of boost at 50Hz. In other words, it lets you pour power into the low frequencies, giving extra force to your music’s deepest roars and rumbles.
