100-watt, cinema soundbar

Watching a movie on your gorgeous, flat-panel TV screen is just that – it’s gorgeous. But when it comes to sound, these high-tech TVs lack the audio power that should match their beautiful screens. For those who want a simple, streamlined audio system that doesn’t take up much space comes the JBL SB300. It’s a cinema soundbar that features dual 2-inch (50-millimeter) premium cone woofers, a 1-inch (25-millimeter) cone tweeter, a 100-watt, built-in amplifier and 3D technology (which creates a surround-sound experience from only two channels).

The SB300 incorporates amplifiers, controls and left and right woofers and tweeters into a single soundbar. Its built-in amplification simplifies system connections and operation, and offers up to 100 watts of power.
Drawing from HARMAN expertise in movie theater audio, the SB300 lets you add cinema-quality sound without adding multiple speakers. Employing 3D technology, it creates a virtual surround-sound experience while preserving the original audio mix in its timbre and special balance.
The SB300 decodes film soundtracks in their native format, which eliminates conversion stages that reduce sound quality. This arrangement helps the soundbar provide a superb surround-sound experience for multiple listeners.
The SB300 easily connects to any TV and even provides all of the cables that you’ll need. Easy to install, the soundbar requires virtually no setup. Just connect and play.
The SB300 features enough inputs to connect a TV and a disc player, satellite tuner or cable tuner to the system. It connects directly to any television and increases convenience – no plugging and unplugging required.
The SB300 comes with a credit card-sized remote. However, this impressive soundbar speaker can also “learn” the IR (infrared) volume-control code of your existing TV remote control, taking away the need to keep track of yet another remote for controlling the volume on your soundbar.
You can place the SB300 on a shelf or tabletop, or wall-mount it with the included hardware. A dual-position equalization feature optimizes the soundbar’s performance for any location. So you can position it where you choose without compromising sound quality.

FAQs & How-Tos

  • If you have a mesh network (more commonly seen in Eero Mesh networks), it is possible that you may experience your satellite speakers or subwoofer intermittently disconnecting from the soundbar. This is similar to normal interference that occurs with products on a similar wireless frequency. The special thing about Eero mesh networks is that they do not allow you to move a device to the 5Ghz or 2.4Ghz band. The system will automatically decide which devices should be on which band and will move them accordingly (switching whenever needed). Some of our soundbars run on a 5Ghz frequency which is where the interference can occur. Since we cannot change the signal in which they operate and we cannot change the band they are connected to via their Eero mesh network, there are a few things you can do to try and stop this from occurring.

    1. Move the mesh nodes far away from the soundbar
    2. Use the 2.4Ghz band instead of the 5Ghz band (if your mesh system allows this)
    3. Ensure to enable/utilize the MU-MIMO setting (not applicable to all mesh systems). Please refer to your router's website to see if MU-MIMO is being utilized by default.

    What is MU-MIMO?

MU-MIMO stands for Multi-User, Multi-Input, Multi-Output. This allows for the router to send a signal to multiple devices at one time vs. the previous version in which the router would be able to connect to multiple devices, but only send the signal to one device at a time.

NOTE: You may notice that when the soundbar is turned on, there may be a dip in the immediate internet speed, but it will go back to normal within less than a minute.
