Note - The JBL Playlist is intended to be used for streaming music via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi technology. This product is designed to be instantly on and ready to play music at a moment's notice. The JBL Playlist is in compliance with the European Union energy legislation. It will enter into sleep mode (networked standby) after 10 minutes without operation, after which it can be re-activated via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.

With Chromecast built-in, just tap the Cast button from your favorite mobile music apps to instantly start playing on the speakers. Then control the speakers right from your phone -- search, play, pause, and turn up the volume -- anywhere in the house.

  • Yes, the JBL Playlist can be reset to factory settings. First, Power ON the JBL Playlist. Secondly, press and hold the Play and Volume (-) buttons simultaneously for about 10 seconds, and after 10 seconds you should see the Play/Pause and Bluetooth button light up, followed by the speaker going into Standby. Once you see the speaker powers back ON, reset is complete.
  • Yes. The Google cast function works independent to that of Bluetooth, therefore you are able to Bluetooth connect to another device while casting audio to the JBL Playlist simultaneously. This feature is applicable on smartphones, tablets/iPad, and Bluetooth capable computers.
  • Yes, that’s the best part about this speaker, there are so many options. Besides streaming over Wi-Fi, the JBL Playlist also offers a Bluetooth connection and an AUX input

If you only have 1 LED light or No LED light we suggest moving the speaker to a different location for a better Wi-Fi signal and better audio experience.

  • You can have 3 smart devices connected at the same time and by pressing play on either one of the sources (smart devices) will start streaming music. The speaker can remember up to 8 paired smart devices and when this buffer is full it will release the first added device in connected sequences. Resetting the speaker will also clear this buffer.
  • The amount of Chromecast speakers you can stream music to depends on the bandwidth of your local wireless network. Theoretically, an unlimited amount of devices can be connected to stream the same song.
