  • NXTGeneration (Next Generation) active noise cancelling gives consumers a new level of control over their listening experience. Harman’s noise cancelling technology actively reduces noise so it doesn’t interfere with your listening experience. However, we recognize that in certain environments, you need to have greater awareness of your surroundings and don’t want to be fully isolated from important sounds– whether it is on a city street, in the office or while commuting. Harman’s adjustable ambient aware technology gives the user the ability to bring in the sounds around them and fully adjust the balance between how loud the outside sounds are
  • With HARMAN Volume you can set your desired volume between low, medium and high. You can listen to your audio without sudden distracting changes such as blasts from ads, and volume variations as you switch between channels on your TV. Other benefits include full sound effects even at low volumes, this means if you are watching movies (DVD, BlueRay disc) and HARMAN volume is set to low volume, then the signal is more compressed, than what the other volume levels is. This will allow you to hear natural, consistent sound at low volume level, and not only hearing voice conversation from movies, giving you the same movie experience just with lower volume. What is best for you is a matter of personal preference, so we recommend playing around with the three different levels.

In case your TV do not support HDCP 2.2, then it will downscale to 1080P content, this is done by the Blue-Ray player.
  • The Low Volume Dynamic EQ feature can optimize EQ, boosts low and high frequencies to maintain the same high-fidelity performance at low volume. With Low Volume Dynamic EQ, you can still receive an enjoyable music experience even in low or high volume, and still protect your ears without compromising on the listening experience.

  • What is Proposition 65? Proposition 65 (“Prop 65”) is a California law that requires businesses to provide a warning before exposing individuals in California to any of 900-plus chemicals that California lists as a carcinogen or a reproductive toxicant (“Prop 65 List”). The list is available at: https://oehha.ca.gov/proposition-65/proposition-65-list. The law includes specific warning language that can be used by businesses to comply. The specific warning language is called a “safe harbor.” Why is Harman including this warning? The chemicals in products that require the Prop 65 warning can vary based on product type. Many of the chemicals on the Prop 65 List are common additives found in products such as jewelry, lamps, ceramic tableware, food, lead crystal glasses, electric cords, automobiles, beauty products, and furniture. Does this law apply everywhere? No, Prop 65 warnings are only required under California law. Are Harman products that display the Proposition 65 warning safe? Harman is committed to making products that comply with all applicable laws and that are safe to use. California’s Prop 65 is not a product safety law, but a chemical right-to-know law. We believe our products are safe when used as intended. I purchased this product outside of California, why does it include a Prop 65 warning? Harman sells products throughout the U.S. We do not know where each item will ship. We have no alternative except to place the Prop 65 warning on all of our products regardless of where they are sold. For more information go to: https://oehha.ca.gov/proposition-65/general-info/proposition-65-plain-language If you have any questions about any of our products, please contact: LA.PROP65@harman.com
