  • Our FLIP 5 speaker is an "All-weather companion," and sometimes it can get dirt and other substances on it. Clean your speaker under lukewarm water from your water tap, and use a microfiber cloth to remove stains. Do not use any alcohol or other to remove stains and dirt. Do not charge your product while the charging port is wet; make sure it is dry before you connect it to a charger. Contact our Customer support if you need more advice.
  • You can clean it by wiping it gently with a damp cloth. Take extra care not to let water get into the speaker chamber, as it will damage the speaker drivers.

Use a clean cotton swab slightly moistened with alcohol to:
    1. Remove earwax and dirt from the ear tips on your earbuds.
    2. Clean the charging pads and ports on your earbuds and in the charging case respectively. Then use a dry and soft cotton to rub down the dust and lint.
    3. Clean the grooves on the cover and at the bottom of the charging case.
After cleaning, make sure the charging case and earbuds are dry before putting the earbuds back into the charging case.

    TIP:
We recommend that you repeat this operation every few weeks or so to keep your headphones clean and to not affect the charging speed and quality.
  • So your Pulse 4 got dirt on it, or even fingerprints, and you want to show off the device the best way possible.
Keep reading this article, and we will instruct you on how to clean the glass and device.

    How to clean your speaker
    • Dirt and stains on your speaker can be cleaned under lukewarm running tap water.
    • Use a soft cloth, preferably cotton, to clean the glass and to remove fingerprints. Hold the top part to avoid adding more prints to the glass part.

  • To find out the software version, press and hold the [VOL- ] and [SOURCE] buttons simultaneously.  The software version will scroll across the front display.

Press and hold the 'Preset 1' & 'Preset 5' buttons for more than 10 seconds.
  • The battery is charged using an included USB-A to USB-C USB fabric cable. It will be fully charged for 2 hrs. Note, this cable is only for charging the battery, it will not deliver audio.
  • The surround speakers of our JBL Bar 800 or Bar 1000 can be recharged through the USB-C connection, located on the side of the speaker. The speakers can be charged by docking them in the soundbar also.
  • You might have to add a USB extension dock to get the JBL Quantum 350/600/800/810 dongle as close to the headset, or place the common sources of interference (e.g. routers, Wi-Fi speakers etc.) as far from the JBL Quantum 350/600/800/810 dongle.

  • • Always have clear line of sight between your Bluetooth device (speaker, headphones etc.) and source device (Smartphone/tablet/PC etc). Be aware of obstacles in front of your devices.

    • Try to shutdown other products that have Bluetooth, but are not being used. They are often the reason for interference even though they are not being used.

    • Do not stand too close to your Wi-Fi router since a Wi-Fi signal is stronger and in many cases will "overlap" the connection.

    • Be aware of walls around you. Concrete and brick walls will often interrupt the signal, as it cannot pass through such thick walls.

    • Bluetooth signals cannot travel through water, which includes the human body. Make sure with wireless headphones to keep your source device and the receiver on the same side of your body.

    • Open spaces such as parks can cause issues for your devices, as open air is "bad" for any Bluetooth signal if it cannot reflect from objects around you.
