TUNE-FLEX: What is the purpose of ANC Tuning?

Due to the various human ear canal, there are different needs of each user for ANC. When you change ear tips, we suggest you reselect different modes of ANC Tuning to enjoy the best ANC experience. Each ANC Tuning represents different ANC presets, that way you can find the one that best fits your taste.

TUNE-FLEX: What is the benefit of using “Open Ear Tips vs Sealing Ear Tips”?

JBL Tune Flex is packed with two types of ear tips. These are called “Open Ear Tips” and “Sealing Ear Tips”.
“Open Ear Tips” allow you to be aware of your surroundings while using the earbuds. “Sealing Ear Tips” provide you with greater sound isolation and a more secure fit.

TUNE-FLEX: What happens if I do not perform the “Ear Tip Sound Settings” check using the relevant ear tip?

If you do not perform the "Ear Tip Sound" setting after changing the ear tips, i.e., using the “Open Ear Tips” for “Sealing Ear Tip” mode, the sound will not be as natural as with “Sealing Ear Tips”, and vice versa.

TUNE-FLEX: How can I choose the best sound to fit my ear tips?

You can choose the “Ear Tip Sound Settings” feature in the JBL Headphones app or activate this feature by tapping three times + holding the left earbud.

TUNE-FLEX: Does the number mean different levels of ANC Tuning?

Numbers 1-6 do NOT relate to ANC level, but you can find the optimal performance for your ears by selecting one of the bubbles.

TUNE-FLEX: Does the JBL Headphones app give me any indications when I choose different Ear Tips mode?

JBL Tune Flex is packed with two types of ear tips. These are called “Open Ear Tips” and “Sealing Ear Tips”.
When you click the Ear Tips mode, you will hear a tone to remind you of the different sound modes (Voice prompts not ready yet).

Trouble accessing the Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa on your Headphone

First, ensure that you have the Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa apps installed on your device, depending on the voice assistant you want to use. Go to your app store to download the intended voice assistant app, then add your headphones as a device in the app if necessary. Finally, enable the intended voice assistant in the settings of the My JBL Headphones app and assign which earbud you want to use to control it. The voice assistant app must be open for it to work correctly. It can be opened from within the My JBL Headphones app by tapping the name of the required voice assistant after you have selected it for use and assigned a gesture to one of your earbuds to control it.

To skip tracks forward, double click the PAUSE/PLAY to advance to the next track. Please note: You can only skip tracks forward. This speaker does not have the capability to skip to the previous track.

To pause/play music, tap center button on right or left ear for 1 second. To skip tracks forward, DOUBLE CLICK the center button on right or left ear. Unfortunately, you cannot skip tracks backward.
