How do I reset the Endurance Series Headphones?

For all models except Endurance Peak:
Press the headphone touch control located on the RIGHT ear loop for 15 seconds while the headphones are being charged.
Note that resetting the Dive will not erase music contained in the MP3 memory.

Endurance Peak reset: While the pods are being charged, tap the touch pad on the right pod once, then tap again and hold for approx 18 seconds, or until the LED blinks.

Endurance Run 2 Wireless reset: Disconnect the earbuds from the paired source device and then press and hold the volume(+) & volume(-) buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds.

  • How to Factory Reset True Wireless Stereo Earbuds
Double-tap the button on the right earbud, then on the third tap - press and hold the button for more than 5 seconds (until the unit shuts off).
This restores the earbuds to the factory defaults.
TWS must be connected to perform the reset, so neither of the earbuds should be off or in the charging case.
It also may be necessary to remove or forget the earbuds from the list of paired Bluetooth devices in order to pair again.

    Left Ear No Longer Connecting

If the left ear pod is silent, please perform a new pairing with the right pod like shown in the quick-start guide.
Take them out of the charging case and click the  center button on both the left and the right pod 3 times.
This forces a new pairing between the pods, and the left pod should automatically pair with the right pod from now on once you remove both pods from the charging case.

If you still cannot get the Left ear to play, please perform a factory reset by placing both pods in the charging case, while the charging case is charging. Now press the button on the right pod, and hold it for more than 5 seconds. You have now reset to factory settings. (Please note: If you have performed a factory reset, you will need to remove the headphones or "forget this device" from any smart phone or tablet they were once connected to. This will allow your device to now search for the newly restored headphones under BT devices)

The right pod is the primary, which is connected to your source, usually a smartphone.
The left pod is the secondary, which connects to the right pod.

How to avoid Bluetooth Interference or Interruptions
    • Always have clear line of sight between your Bluetooth device (speaker, headphones etc.) and source device (Smartphone/tablet/PC etc). Be aware of obstacles in front of your devices.

    • Try to shutdown other products that have Bluetooth, but are not being used. They are often the reason for interference even though they are not being used.

    • Do not stand too close to your Wi-Fi router since a Wi-Fi signal is stronger and in many cases will "overlap" the connection.

    • Be aware of walls around you. Concrete and brick walls will often interrupt the signal, as it cannot pass through such thick walls.

    • Bluetooth signals cannot travel through water, which includes the human body. Make sure with wireless headphones to keep your source device and the receiver on the same side of your body.

    • Open spaces such as parks can cause issues for your devices, as open air is "bad" for any Bluetooth signal if it cannot reflect from objects around you.
Headphones & Third Party Communication Apps (Skype, Zoom, WhatsApp, etc)

If you are experiencing issues getting the app to communicate with your headphones, (assuming you have already paired the headphones with the device) go into the communication apps audio settings. You will likely find the resolution there. You may have to set your headphones as the ‘communication device’ within the app you are using.

  • How do I make sure to get the best heart rate reading and accuracy?
To ensure the best accuracy, it is important that you are using the proper size and the headphones securely fit in the ear. Please reference FAQ: How do I find the proper fit? to make sure you are wearing them correctly. You should also make sure that the enhancers are properly installed on the ear buds so that material is fully stretched over the bud and the window for the heart rate (HR) sensor is not covered. Please reference FAQ: How do I switch enhancer sizes? for more guidance. Once you've found your ideal size and ensure they're installed correctly, make sure the HR sensor is on. When it is on, you will see a green light on the LEFT ear bud and should hear the audio prompt stating, “Heart Rate sensor on”. For best results, insert the earphone into your ear so that the green heart rate sensor on the LEFT ear bud is fully hidden inside the ear (behind your tragus). Double check that the ear bud is touching the back of the bowl of your ear for the most accurate signal - this is often times achieved by using the largest size that fits comfortably in your ear. Lastly, the ear loop should not be pushed backwards to align with arc of the ear perfectly; it is likely there will be negative space between the headphone loop and your ear. You should hear the audible alert telling you if the ear bud needs to be adjusted if it is unable to retrieve a proper reading on your heart rate. Heart Rate accuracy can vary depending on the type of exercise you are performing; it is recommended for steady state endurance-oriented activities to ensure best accuracy. While the technology is state-of-the-art, there are limitations that may cause some readings to be inaccurate under certain circumstances. These circumstances include physical characteristics, fit, and the type of activity as outlined above. The heart rate monitor data is not intended to be used for medical purposes, nor is it intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition.
If I have two or more Heart Rate devices connected to UA Record, how can I select my headphones to be used for my workout?
When starting a workout in UA Record, the workout setup screen will display the heart rate monitor that is currently connected to your phone. Make sure your UA Sport Wireless Heart Rate are turned on and the logo is displaying in the heart rate monitor section.
How do you skip tracks on the Under Armour Heart Rate Headphones?
If you want to skip your track forward, simply press and hold the top button on the inline microphone. If you want to skip the track backward, press and hold the bottom button until you hear the track skip backward. You typically hold the button for 1-2 seconds to advance to the next track or to go backwards.
My headphones told me heart rate disconnected. How do I reconnect it?
Tap-hold on the right ear bud forcefully to reconnect heart rate. If this does not work, Hold the middle button to turn off, then back on your headphones.

  • How Do You Change the Enhancers (rubber tips)?
There are 5 sizes of fit enhancers that come with the UA Sport Wireless: (4,5,6,7 & 8). Size 7 on the earbuds and (4,5,6 & 8) labeled on the black poly bags. There are three sizes of ear tips that come with the UA Sport Wireless: small, medium & large. Size medium on the earbuds. Size small and large in the black poly bag. The first time you change the enhancers the material might feel a little stiff. Please make sure to align the funnel of the enhancer tip over the small speaker screen of the headphone casing. To change sizes, remove both the pre-installed ear tip and fit enhancer, starting with the ear tip. When removing the parts, always grab from the base and be careful not to rip the rubber material. Based on your initial experience, identify which size combination may be a better fit. Each size should be clearly labeled in an individual baggy inside your original packaging or you can find the size of the fit enhancers on the inside with a raised stamp marked with either ‘R’ for Right or ‘L’ for Left along with the numbered size. Most people use the same size for Right and Left but it is possible to use different sizes because some ears are not symmetrical. First, align the sound tunnel of the headphone with the hole in the fit enhancer and gently pull the outer edge of the adapter over the edge of the speaker. Next, align the inner grooves of the ear tip with the grooves in the sound tunnel and gently push the ear tip into position. Try a variety of combinations between the enhancers and ear tips to find the best combination, providing comfort, superior sound quality and secure fit. aptX Audio Codec Support
This headphone does not support aptX, aptX HD, aptX Low Latency audio codecs.
How do I get a secure fit with the UA Sport Wireless?
First, it is very important that you use the correct size enhancers (rubber tips). This headphone features the TwistLock technology that is uniquely designed to fit in the bowl of the ear (vs. inner ear). They may look bigger than traditional earbuds, but this design provides the most secure fit to ensure they never fall-out in the most active workouts. To properly put them on, first make sure you have the Right and Left earbud in the correct ear. The number to indicate the enhancer size is featured on the inside of the enhancer next to the large L or R (left ear, right ear). Next, gently insert the enhancer into your ear with a forward motion towards the jaw, which should twist and lock the enhancer into place. These headphones come with 5 sizes of fit enhancers (4, 5, 6, 7 & 8) and 3 sizes of ear tips (small, medium & large). The fit enhancers sit in the bowl of your ear and are essential for a secure fit, while the ear tips are inserted in the inside of the ear canal and provide sound occlusion. The size 7 fit enhancer and large ear tip comes pre-installed on the headphone. If you experience discomfort wearing the size 7, try the next size down. If you try a smaller size and the headphones fall out easily or the enhancer does not extend fully to the back of the bowl of the ear, you should try a bigger size.
What Devices are Compatible with my UA Sport Wireless Headphones?
Any device that has Bluetooth capabilities and supports A2DP stereo audio streaming will be compatible with the Under Armour Sport Wireless headphones

  • Does the Inspire 500 feature volume control?
Yes, the Inspire 500 features a 3 button mic that features, pause/play, track and volume control.
Is the Inspire 500/700 a wireless headphone?
Yes. The Inspire 500/700 is an in-ear Sport Wireless Headphone.
Can you take calls on the Inspire 500?
Yes, the Inspire 500 features a microphone located on the cord. We recommend running the cord under your chin for the best call connection.
How do I know that I have the best fit with the 500 Series headphones?
By habit, we try to shove earbuds into our ear canals in attempts to get them to stay in. The 500 Series headphone is a completely different concept. The tip of the enhancer (ear tip) should funnel gently down into the ear canal and the base of the enhancer should fill the entire concha (bowl) of your ear. If there is still quite a bit of space between the back of the enhancer, and the back of the bowl of the ear, there is nothing to support it and it will eventually fall out. Typically larger sizes will fill the extra space inside the concha. We recommend trying both sizes featured in the packaging. If you are still experiencing fit issues, please reach out to your local JBL Customer Support for information regarding different sizing options.
