What's in the box
Your JBL Quantum 600 and Quantum 800 includes the headset, a USB Type-A to C cable, 3.5mm cable, a wireless transmitter dongle, QSG l Warranty Card l Warning Card, and a microphone windshield.

The platforms we are supporting for Quantum
The JBL Quantum 600 and Quantum 800 headset is compatible via 3.5mm jack with PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, Mobile, Mac and VR. You can use the 2.4GHz wireless connection with PC, PlayStation, Mac and VR.
Using your Quantum headphones while charging
We have disabled this for safety reasons.
Using the USB Connection for your headphones
The JBL Quantum 600 can only be used via 3.5mm or 2.4GHz wireless connection.
No sound when playing or listening to music
Make sure the on headset volume control is turned up. Rotate the volume wheel on your headset to increase the volume. If you're connected to the PC via USB, check that the default device is selected under Control Panel > Sound > Playback. Select JBL Quantum 600 or Quantum 800 Game, right-click, and select "Set as Default Device". Check your headset's game-chat balance dial and ensure that the balance is correct. Check the JBL Quantum 600 or Quantum 800 Game device and make sure it is not muted or turned all the way down.
How to avoid WiFi interference for your headphone
You might have a USB extension dock to get the JBL Quantum 600/800 dongle as much as close to the headset, or place the common sources of interference (e.g. routers, Wi-Fi speakers etc.) as much as far from the JBL Quantum 600/800 dongle.
The story behind our Quantum name
We wanted the name to reflect this futuristic inspiration married with cutting-edge technology. The Quantum name was ultimately chosen as it conjures images of both the technology aspect through the advances in quantum computing but also a very organic feel with reference to quantum physics and the science behind building upon small elements to make massive improvements.
Why you can't hear your teammates
Make sure JBL Quantum 800 is selected for PC.If you are connected to the PC via USB, check that the default device is selected under Control Panel --> Sound --> Playback.
Select JBL Quantum 800, right-click and "Set as default device".
Make sure the volume control on the headset is turned up. Rotate the volume wheel on your headset to increase the volume.
Check that your headset's GAME-CHAT balance dial and ensure that the balance is correct, you might refer to the screenshot below from the QuantumENGINE PC software.
If you still cannot hear the game or music audio, or if the volume is still very low, check if the TalkThrough is activated via the QuantumENGINE software.
Or you can turn it off by short pressing on the Smart Ambient button on the headset.
How to use your Quantum wirelessly
It is offering low-latency wireless connectivity via a 2.4Ghz signal that is enabled by a USB dongle included in the box. Turn on the slider, then it automatically connect to the dongle. If you loss the connectivity with the dongle, power on with the slider and hold on for 5 seconds and press and hold the dongle to make sure the pairing until listening to the tone.

How to charge your Quantum headphone
The battery is charged using an included USB-A to USB-C USB fabric cable. It will be fully charged for 2 hrs. Note, this cable is only for charging the battery, it will not deliver audio.
Why your teammates cannot hear you
Ensure that only one voice chat application is in use while in-game. Be sure you hear a click when the microphone is flipped down. The microphone will only function when it is flipped down fully. If you see a red LED on the microphone, it is muted. Check that the PC is using the correct recording device under Control Panel > Sound > Recording. Select the proper recording device, right-click on it, and select "Set Default Device" or "Select Default Communication Device". Check the microphone levels at Control Panel >Sound > Recording > Properties > Levels and adjust accordingly.
Does the Quantum headphone support the Mic monitoring feature?
Yes. You can configure the volume of the mic monitoring in JBL QuantumENGINE. And the default setting of the mic monitoring is set of “OFF”.
How to switch between Game and Chat balance
Yes, you can adjust game and chat audio balance by rotating the dial up and down. You will feel a notch in the dial that indicates 50 game and 50 chat when you rotate the dial.

Why are my headphones shown as “speakers” on Windows?
The “Speaker” mode allows the JBL QuantumENGINE to receive more than two channels of audio. It also prevents some applications from adding extra signal processing intended for other headphones, which would negatively impact the performance of the JBL QuantumSURROUND or JBL QuantumSPHERE 360 technology.
How RBG lighting work for console games
JBL Quantum 400 and ONE are compatible with USB C to A cable to enjoy PS4 and Nintendo Switch with RGB Lighting on, and Quantum 600 and 800 with wireless-enabled by USB dongle also gives lighting moment on those console games.
*NOTE that RGB will not light up when connecting with 3.5mm cable to any device (PC, Console, Mobile, etc.) because the cable doesn't have power enough for the RBG lighting.
Mic Monitoring SupportThe Quantum line does not have sidetone/mic monitoring so you will not be able to hear your own voice through the headphones.
How to clean your Quantum headphone
You can clean your headphones by wiping it gently with a damp cloth. Take extra care not to let water get into the speaker chamber, as it will damage the speaker drivers. If you need replacement ear pads, please reach out to your local JBL Customer Support to inquire about replacement parts.
