BASSPRO GO: Charging/PowerThe BASSPRO GO receives is power ONLY from the harness that is connected to the car battery. When connected to the harness, the car battery will charge the internal battery so that it is ready to be used as a portable the next time you need it.
When removed from the harness, the full-range portable speaker runs on the internal battery. It cannot be charged via either of the USB (A or C) jacks. It will be charged the next time it is connected to the harness in the vehicle.
Was this helpful? Thank you for your feedback!BASSPRO GO: Connect FeatureThe BASSPRO GO uses the original Connect feature. It is not compatible with devices using the Connect+ or PartyBoost feature. You can connect up to two BASSPRO GO speakers to each other using Connect, or you can connect a single BASSPRO GO to other JBL speakers that have the same Connect feature, like the Xtreme, Charge 3, Flip 3, and Pulse 2.
Was this helpful? Thank you for your feedback! How it works when docked and connected to the harness, when undocked & portableWhen docked and connected to the harness, the BASSPRO GO can be used as a powered subwoofer or a full-range car audio speaker. It receives it’s audio source from the head unit via the wiring harness and it’s power from the car battery. Bluetooth is not active.
When undocked/portable and removed from the harness, it can no longer be used as a powered sub. It is strictly a full-range portable Bluetooth speaker system. It receives it’s audio source from the Bluetooth input only, and receives it’s power from the internal battery.

PartyBox On-The-Go/100:
Connect just the left PartyBox with the chosen device first, with the right PartyBox turned off. The speaker that is connected first will automatically be the left channel. Now turn the right PartyBox on and continue with TWS pairing (detailed below).
PartyBox 200/300/1000:
A button (L/R) on the rear of the speakers is used to assign the correct channel to the speakers after pairing is made.
In order to activate TWS mode, press and hold the Bluetooth button on the first speaker until the notification chime sounds, about 5 seconds. Then press and hold the Bluetooth button on the second speaker until the notification chime sounds (as seen below). TWS mode is now activated. To disable TWS, press and hold the Bluetooth button on either speaker, or power off one speaker.

• Try to shutdown other products that have Bluetooth, but are not being used. They are often the reason for interference even though they are not being used.
• Do not stand too close to your Wi-Fi router since a Wi-Fi signal is stronger and in many cases will "overlap" the connection.
• Be aware of walls around you. Concrete and brick walls will often interrupt the signal, as it cannot pass through such thick walls.
• Bluetooth signals cannot travel through water, which includes the human body. Make sure with wireless headphones to keep your source device and the receiver on the same side of your body.
• Open spaces such as parks can cause issues for your devices, as open air is "bad" for any Bluetooth signal if it cannot reflect from objects around you.Was this helpful? My device is waterproof, but what about salt water or chlorine water?Your JBL speaker is waterproof with IPX7 rating. (IPX7 means it can survive immersion in 1 meter/3.3 feet for up to 30 minutes.) To maintain the looks and functions of your speaker, please make sure to rinse it with fresh water after using it at a swimming pool or the ocean, then dry off all covers and areas where water can gather. The standard for waterproofing is for tap water. Chemicals and salt in your pool or the ocean can damage the waterproof seals or harm the surface finish over time if not rinsed off after use.Was this helpful? Thank you for your feedback! When I connect my JBL speaker with a computer (PC/Laptop/Apple Mac/Nintendo Switch), can I use the PartyBoost feature? The PartyBoost feature is not available when your JBL speaker is connected to a computer via Bluetooth. This is a technical limitation. When connected to a computer, the computer is acting as the primary device. Therefore, the JBL speaker does not have control of re-transmitting the Bluetooth signal to other JBL speakers.
NOTE: Speakers effected by this are the JBL Flip 5, JBL Flip 6, JBL Charge 5, JBL Pulse 4, JBL Xtreme 3, and JBL Boombox 2, as well as all future products featuring the PartyBoost feature. Was this helpful? Thank you for your feedback! -
