  • This video shows how to use a smart speaker that has Google Assistant built-in.

  • It is offering low-latency wireless connectivity via a 2.4Ghz signal that is enabled by a USB dongle included in the box. Turn on the slider, then it automatically connect to the dongle. If you loss the connectivity with the dongle, power on with the slider and hold on for 5 seconds and press and hold the dongle to make sure the pairing until listening to the tone.
  • 1. Disconnect/unplug the product from the network cable. If dealing with a smartphone, forget the wi-fi on the phone. 2. Shut the router completely OFF. (do not reboot, you must turn it completely off) 3. Boot the router up and let it complete it's connection with everything, usually a few minutes. 4. Shut the router completely OFF, again. This is REALLY important. Before turning it off a second time, the router still has the product in it and is looking to connect to it. Shutting it off a second time allows the router to go through a complete power cycle without ever seeing the product, so it will remove it from its system. 5. Boot the router up, again, and let it complete it's connection with everything. 6. Now plug-in/turn on the product. The router should find the product and all should work. 7. If dealing with a smartphone, search for the wi-fi and reconnect to it. All should work after this.
  • JBL DRG will auto reconnect to the last device. To setup a connection with new Bluetooth head unit, press the “reset” button in the App. The device will then search for a discoverable Bluetooth connection and setup.

  • Please keep the app running during a firmware upgrade. This is because the app is using BLE to transfer firmware to the JBL DRG. If you exit or kill the app, this will cause the BLE connection to be broken and the upgrade will not complete.
  • It sounds like you are living in a country where Google Assistant has not yet been officially released. When Google releases the Google Assistant to more countries, the Everest GA headphones will open up for this feature. It may require a software update for this to happen. For now, you can use them as normal Bluetooth headphones and wait for the release to use the Google Assistant feature.
  • What you are experiencing is normal. The JBL Free will automatically switch to mono mode on the RIGHT ear when the call starts. After the call ends stereo music mode will automatically resume.
  • The registration success rate and quality of voice commands depends on the performance of your smart phone’s microphone. Make sure that your smart phone’s microphone is unobstructed and you are speaking clearly when registering commands. If you continue to have issues, try registering using a family member or friend’s smart phone as a test. If voice command registration is successful with their device, the microphone on your smart phone may have issues.
  • Make sure your smart phone supports BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) and it is connected to Smartbase via Bluetooth.
  • • Please check whether you connected JBL DRG with your smartphone and head unit via Bluetooth before, then power off the head unit. • If you have, wait 2 minutes for JBL DRG to reconnect to smartphone after power on. This is because JBL DRG will automatically search for the head unit, first then the smart phone.
  • Please make sure that the audio out format is set to PCM in the TV. Dolby Digital or other surround formats will not work with the BTA 20 transmitter.
  • The new Boombox 2 does not feature the Indoor/Outdoor Mode. With the first generation Boombox, the Outdoor Mode was loud, but lacking sufficient bass. The Boombox 2 has both improved bass and loudness to create the perfect balanced sound for all environments.

You should hear the audible voice stating, “powering on” and a blue blinking light should appear at the top of the inline mic. Once you select that option, the audible voice should state, “connected”. If you are trying to connect to a different device, turn the headphones on and press and hold for 3-5 seconds for the headphones to start searching for a different device. You should hear the audible voice stating, “powering on….looking for device” You will see the Bluetooth light alternate between red and blue when it is in pairing mode. Once connected the Bluetooth will change to a flashing LED light and the audible voice will state, “connected”.

  • The speaker uses Bluetooth version 4.2 but does NOT support APT X.
  • The lights cannot be adjusted by user. The digital front panel display has automatic light intensity adjustment, which follows the level of light in the room.
  • Yes, but only via cable, and noise cancelling cannot be activated meanwhile. Since the charging socket is located on top of the ear pod, adjustment is limited in that direction while the micro-USB plug is inserted.
  • Yes, they are quite easy to remove, and with a little care, new ear pads can be fitted in one or two minutes. You can do this yourself.
  • No. There is no way to turn off the blue LED light from our wireless headphones unless they are turned off.
  • If any update exist, then it is only possible to get it updated, via our authorized service center. The USB port on the back, is meant for service use only. Contact support for more information.
  • No. Please don’t expose JBL Trip to rain or other liquids.
  • This model is not supported by the JBL Partybox App.
  • Yes. The Clip 3 has an IPX 7 rating. You can take the speaker under water, down to 1 meter depth up to 30 minutes.
  • E55BT is an over-ear headphone.
  • Yes. The Inspire 500/700 is an in-ear Sport Wireless Headphone.
  • No. The J88a headphone is a wired headphone and does not have bluetooth capabilities.
  • Because the JBL DUET does not feature an IPX rating against sweat and water, we do not recommend that you perform rigorous athletic activity while using these headphones. If you are interested in sweat and water proof headphones, please visit our JBL SPORT headphone page on our website.
  • Yes, two flexible joints permit you to expand the collar to make it easier to place it around your neck.
  • No. The Live 200BT does not feature any IPX rating so overexposure to both sweat and water can compromise the headphones.
