Finally, enable the intended voice assistant in the settings of the My JBL Headphones app and assign which earbud you want to use to control it. The voice assistant app must be open for it to work correctly. After you have paired your JBL headphones to your device via Bluetooth, you should receive a pop-up notification (pictured below). Please tap the notification on your device to start the Google Assistant setup. You will now be directed to the Google Assistant App.Step 1
Follow the steps to connect and pair “JBL XXXX-LE” (depends on your model) with your devices.

PLEASE NOTE: In order to verbally interact with your Google Assistant via the headphone you must turn on the ‘Spoken Notifications’ in the Google Assistant App. This can be found under: Assistant Devices > Notifications. To reset the headphones, power on the headphones and plug in the USB cable into a USB charger or USB port. Paired mobile devices should disconnect and the led should be constant white. When unplugging the USB cable, the headphones will power off. When manually powering on the headphones, and the last connected mobile phone is not in range, the headphones will revert to Bluetooth Pairing mode ( blue led will blink ) after 5 seconds. How to avoid Bluetooth Interference or Interruptions• Always have clear line of sight between your Bluetooth device (speaker, headphones etc.) and source device (Smartphone/tablet/PC etc). Be aware of obstacles in front of your devices.
• Try to shutdown other products that have Bluetooth, but are not being used. They are often the reason for interference even though they are not being used.
• Do not stand too close to your Wi-Fi router since a Wi-Fi signal is stronger and in many cases will "overlap" the connection.
• Be aware of walls around you. Concrete and brick walls will often interrupt the signal, as it cannot pass through such thick walls.
• Bluetooth signals cannot travel through water, which includes the human body. Make sure with wireless headphones to keep your source device and the receiver on the same side of your body.
• Open spaces such as parks can cause issues for your devices, as open air is "bad" for any Bluetooth signal if it cannot reflect from objects around you.Was this helpful? • A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) driver for your Computer/PC/Headphones to transfer music.
• AVRCP (Audio/Video Remote Control Profile) driver to send skip/forward/pause/play music to your device
Always get the latest driver version available for your Computer/PC/Laptop.
To download the correct driver (software), visit the manufacturer's website of your Computer/PC/Laptop. They usually have a "Support/Download" section where you can find the correct driver. Otherwise, we advise you to contact their support.

I cannot activate Google Assistant when touching the dedicated button, why?It sounds like you are living in a country where Google Assistant has not yet been officially released. When Google releases the Google Assistant to more countries, the Everest GA headphones will open up for this feature. It may require a software update for this to happen. How do you power on a pair the JR 300BT headphones?Press the power button located on the bottom of the Right Ear cup. If this is your first time using the headphones, it should immediately start looking for a device to connect to. Make sure that the device that you are trying to connect to is in pairing mode. The JBL JR300BT should display on your discoverable devices within 2-5 seconds. Are the Everest 310, 710, 750 ear pads replaceable by owner?The ear pads on the three second-generation Everest headphones are fixed to a plastic plate, held in place on the ear pods with small claws. It is not very easy to remove it, and sometimes one or more of the claws may break off. Thank you for your feedback!Can I use both Windows and Apple computers to update my Everest headphones?The EVEREST models 100, 300 and 700 are all updated with the HID (Human Interface Device) tool, available in the download section for each model. This tool works with Windows computers only. The EVEREST ELITE models are updated with a USB tool available on the special Everest web page. This tool is available in both an Apple MAC OS version and a Windows version. This USB tool update is used for the first production run of ELITE models ONLY, and only once! All later production runs, and all updates after this first USB update, will take place wirelessly through the My JBL Headphone app, made for iOS and Android.Was this helpful?
