To power on the device, place one of the headphones inside your ear and press and hold the center button on the inline mic. You should hear the audible voice stating, “powering on” and a blue blinking light should appear at the top of the inline mic. If this is your first time connecting to a device, it should immediately go into pairing mode. The device should recognize the Inspire 500 Wireless headphone. Once you select that option, the audible voice should state, “connected”. If you are trying to connect to a different device, turn the headphones on and press and hold for 3-5 seconds for the headphones to start searching for a different device. The headphones should appear on your discoverable devices within a few seconds. You should hear the audible voice stating, “powering on….looking for device” You will see the Bluetooth light alternate between red and blue when it is in pairing mode. • Please check whether you connected JBL DRG with your smartphone and head unit via Bluetooth before, then power off the head unit. • If you have, wait 2 minutes for JBL DRG to reconnect to smartphone after power on. This is because JBL DRG will automatically search for the head unit, first then the smart phone. Was this helpful? Thank you for your feedback!

Make sure that your smart phone’s microphone is unobstructed and you are speaking clearly when registering commands. If you continue to have issues, try registering using a family member or friend’s smart phone as a test. If voice command registration is successful with their device, the microphone on your smart phone may have issues. Was this helpful? Thank you for your feedback!
