Please note that these services can only be activated from the earphone's buttons when the headphones are connected via Bluetooth. How do you remove the batteries inside the earcup?The Synchros Chrome is actually the Synchros S500 in chrome-plated version. On the right ear cup, you will find two ridges. These are there to make it possible to remove the disc that covers the batteries. You just position your fingernails against the ridges, to turn the disc counter-clockwise, against a small notch resistance. The Chrome is not painted, but plated. This means that the material is now thicker, and the lid can be rather difficult to remove, because the locking notches are squeezed into position. There is no other way than to put pressure on the ridges, press downward and in a counter-clockwise direction at the same time, and press until the notches, or claws, finally let go, and the lid rotates into open position, when it will fall off. If the lid does not budge, it may be necessary to use some kind of tool, but that can damage the chrome surface. You should either buy the i or the a version, to match the phone you have. But since the difference is only in the remote control on the cable, it is always possible to buy the alternative cable later, as long as they are in stock as spare parts. What is the difference between the cable with silver and the cable with black plugs?Since there is no fixed standard for headphone connections, there are two cables in the box, with different polarity. If one cable does not give good audio results, try the other cable. This usually solves the problem. The majority of phone models (Apple, Samsung from Galaxy S2 model, LG, HTC, Sony, Motorola, Blackberry) require the audio cable with the silver plugs. Pin assignment in this cable from the tip of the plug: R/L/Ground/Microphone. However, some manufacturers, such as some models from Nokia, require a cable with different pin assignment, (R/L/Microphone/Ground).
