My headphones are not responding when I tap them/gestures not working

If after updating your headphones you notice that when you tap them to perform your desired gestures the headphones do not respond, please reset your headphones. To do so, with the headphones connected to your mobile source device or tablet:

  1. Open the JBL Headphones app
  2. Scroll down to bottom where it shows Support
  3. Tap on Support
  4. Under Product Help, tap Reset to Factory Setting
  5. You will get a popup asking you to select Reset or Cancel. Please select Reset.
  6. Headphones will complete a factory reset.

Note: RESET will wipe all previous settings and pairings, so it will be necessary to pair your unit with your devices again.
