To activate TalkThru mode, press the Bionic Hearing button on the controller once. You will hear a tone, and your music level will lower when TalkThru Technology is engaged. Yes, The UA Train ear cushions can be removed and washed. To remove the ear cushions, peel cushion away from ear cup center. Hand wash the ear cushions only with liquid soap for 5 minutes. Swish in soapy water, then swish through clean water until there are no more soap suds. Wait for ear cushions to fully dry, and gently stretch the cushion, inserting the cushion ring into the ear cup slot, and working your way around. You will hear your music level lower when TalkThru Technology is engaged. To revert back to normal volume, simply press the UA logo again. To activate the voice assistance, press and hold the center button on the RIGHT ear for 2 seconds until you hear your music stop. You will be able to speak to VA through your headphones and it should comply with your command.

It is possible to rename the Bluetooth name of the primary connected device and set the Party or Stereo mode. If a firmware upgrade is available for any Connect, Connect+, or Partyboost compatible speaker, this can be installed through the JBL Portable app. Only identical products can be set to stereo mode. Power button, no light: Product is OFF. Power button, constant light: Product is ON. Power button: constant white, when no Bluetooth device connected. Power button, flashing blue in Bluetooth pairing mode. Power button, constant blue light: Bluetooth connected. Battery indicator LEDs: Five LEDs show battery level.
