  • Connecting to your Car
    It is very simple to connect to your Car with the JBL Partybox 200 or 300. Use the included cable that connects through the cigarette connector in your Car and power on the Partybox! Please note that the 12V connection does not charge the battery in the Partybox 300 - it will only power the Partybox when in use. To charge the battery, it will have to be plugged into AC power ( 110 - 230V )
  • Connection issues using PartyBoost or Connect+

    If there are drop out or connection issues when using PartyBoost or Connect+, it could be one of three things.

    1.      Units are too far apart (move units closer together) 

    2.      Interference from other 2.4gHz wireless units in the area.

    3.     Unit is no longer working as designed

    Here are some steps to isolate the issue:

     Try taking the units out of the house and test it outside with no interference to see if you still experience connectivity issues. If you still experience connectivity issues, please try steps below:

    Whatever unit drops off, remove that from the chain. Test the rest of the speakers and keep doing it until you find the speaker that is causing the drop outs.  If all speakers begin to drop off, please try a different order and repeat. Repeat this process with each unit being the “main speaker”. 

     Make sure to turn off all WiFi/RF devices. (Router, laptop, baby monitor, Nest cams, IP cams, WiFi switches, WiFi outlets, WiFi lights, cordless phones, etc.) 

    You should be able to identify the issue/speaker by following these steps. 

  • Discover how to troubleshoot when your Google Assistant device isn’t responding to “Hey Google” or “Ok Google”.
  • Display Timeout and Standby Times
    The display will timeout and switch off automatically after 30 seconds if no buttons are pressed to preserve battery life, but pressing any button will wake the display again. It is not possible to change or switch off the automatic display timeout.

    The speaker itself will turn off automatically after 15 minutes inactive, if no music is playing on any mode or button are pressed (not possible to change).
  • Does Boost TV Support AptX Codec?
    No, we only support SBC Codec and AAC Codec.
  • Does Control Xstream have Spotify Connect?
    Yes, Control Xstream supports Spotify Connect, which can be used from the Spotify app if you have a premium account.
  • Does Focus 500/700 feature volume control?
    Yes, the Focus 500/700 features a 3 button mic that features, pause/play, track and volume control.
  • Does it have phantom power for microphones?
    No, there is no phantom power in the microphone inputs.
    All power to active microphones must be supplied from an external source.
  • Does it have phantom power for microphones?
    Yes, EON 208P has a selector switch where you can turn phantom power on/off when needed for condenser microphones on CH1 and CH2.
  • Does JBL Quantum ONE provide mic monitoring (side tone) feature?
    Yes. You can configure the volume of the mic monitoring in JBL QuantumENGINE. The default setting of the mic monitoring is "OFF”.
  • Does JBL Quantum ONE provide surround sound?
    The JBL Quantum ONE provides QuantumSURROUND via the USB connection on PC. You can download QuantumENGINE here: JBLQuantum.com
  • Does JBL Soundgear have express charging?
    Yes, in two hours, you can charge it to approx. 6 hours of playing time.
