What can you do with JBL QuantumENGINE software?
You can adjust equalizer, RGB LED effects, change microphone settings and update the headset's firmware.
How to use your Quantum wirelessly
It is offering low-latency wireless connectivity via a 2.4Ghz signal that is enabled by a USB dongle included in the box. Turn on the slider, then it automatically connect to the dongle. If you loss the connectivity with the dongle, power on with the slider and hold on for 5 seconds and press and hold the dongle to make sure the pairing until listening to the tone.
Can I use the JBL Quantum 800 in USB mode
The JBL Quantum 800 can only be used via a 3.5mm, Bluetooth, or 2.4Ghz wireless connection.
Does the Quantum headphone support the Mic monitoring feature?
Yes. You can configure the volume of the mic monitoring in JBL QuantumENGINE. And the default setting of the mic monitoring is set of “OFF”.
The volume level on my headphones is very quiet
If your volume level is quiet, make sure that the TalkThru is not activated on your headphones. In order to deactivate or activate TalkThru, quickly press the ANC button located at the top of the LEFT ear cup. You will hear an audible voice stating, TalkThru On when activated, and 'ANC On' when deactivated.
JBL Quantum ONE and Quantum TWS: How do I clean my headset?
You can clean it by wiping it gently with a damp cloth. Take extra care not to let water leak into the speaker chamber, as it will damage the speaker drivers.
How to set up your microphone

Ensure that only one voice chat application is in use while in-game. Be sure you hear a click when the microphone is flipped down. The microphone will only function when it is flipped down fully. If you see a red LED on the microphone, it is muted.

  1. Right-click on it Quantum headset.

5. Check the microphone levels by right-click on your Quantum headset. Then click on Properties

Please also make sure the volume control on the headset is turned up. Rotate the volume wheel on your headset to increase the volume.
Check that your headset's Game-Chat balance dial and ensure that the balance is correct, you might refer to the screenshot below from the QuantumEngine PC software.

If you still cannot hear the game or music audio, or if the volume is still very low, check if the TalkThrough is activated via the QuantumEngine software.

How to switch between Game and Chat balance
Yes, you can adjust the game and chat audio balance by rotating the dial-up and down. When you rotate the dial, you'll feel a notch that indicates the balance is 50% game and 50% chat. The slider on Quantum ONE is different and has no notch but instead a visual indicator.
Why are my headphones shown as “speakers” on Windows?

The “Speaker” mode allows the JBL QuantumENGINE to receive more than two channels of audio. It also prevents some applications from adding extra signal processing intended for other headphones, which would negatively impact the performance of the JBL QuantumSURROUND or JBL QuantumSPHERE 360 technology.

How to charge your Quantum headphone
The battery is charged using an included USB-A to USB-C USB fabric cable. It will be fully charged for 2 hrs. Note, this cable is only for charging the battery, it will not deliver audio.
No sound when playing or listening to music
Make sure the volume control on the headset is turned up. Rotate the volume wheel on your headset to increase the volume. If you're connected to the PC via USB, check that the default device is selected under Control Panel > Sound > Playback. Select JBL Quantum 600 or Quantum 800 Game, right-click, and select "Set as Default Device". Check your headset's game-chat balance dial and ensure that the balance is correct. Check the JBL Quantum 600 or Quantum 800 Game device and make sure it is not muted or turned all the way down.

How to avoid WiFi interference for your headphone

You might have to add a USB extension dock to get the JBL Quantum 350/600/800/810 dongle as close to the headset, or place the common sources of interference (e.g. routers, Wi-Fi speakers etc.) as far from the JBL Quantum 350/600/800/810 dongle.

How RBG lighting work for console games

JBL Quantum 400 and ONE are compatible with USB C to A cable to enjoy PS4 console with RGB Lighting on, and Quantum 600 and 800 with wireless-enabled by USB dongle also gives lighting moment on PS4 console games.

*NOTE that RGB will not light up when connecting with 3.5mm cable to any device (PC, Console, Mobile, etc.) because the cable doesn't have power enough for the RBG lighting.

How to switch between Active Noise Cancelling and TalkThru
Onboard Active Noise Cancelling is controlled by the multi-function button on the rear of the left ear-cup. Switched on by default, you can SINGLE press the ANC button to toggle it On/Off  and LONG press to active TalkThru. Turn on ANC again by a single press on the multi-function button.
