Yes, all sources that output analog stereo line-level signals or stereo audio optical digital signals may be used, cable-connected to the BTA 20 transmitter. Digital signals must be in PCM format. So if you have a CD player or an FM radio, you can connect the BTA 20 to it, and transmit to your Soundgear (or to other Bluetooth headphones that support the format). Please note that record players need an additional preamplifier to work this way. You can use the PartyLight Sticks and the PartyLight Beam with older PartyBox speakers. The built-in sound detection algorithm sync the light with the music from the speaker.
The light also works if you don't own a PartyBox speaker as a built-in mic with a music detection algorithm automatically finds and syncs to any music device that's playing.

Yes, you can activate the noise reduction circuits alone, with no connection to a source device by Bluetooth or cable. The headphones will stay on as long as there is power in the battery, which is close to 30 hours for pure NC function. Please note that there is a slight residual noise from the NC system, which will be drowned out by music playing, or by surrounding noise such as airplane noise. The EVEREST models 100, 300 and 700 are all updated with the HID (Human Interface Device) tool, available in the download section for each model. This tool works with Windows computers only. The EVEREST ELITE models are updated with a USB tool available on the special Everest web page. This tool is available in both an Apple MAC OS version and a Windows version. This USB tool update is used for the first production run of ELITE models ONLY, and only once! You can turn the Heart Rate sensor off and still use the headphones for audio by placing your finger on the right earpiece for 3-4 seconds. You will hear an audio prompt stating, “Heart Rate disconnected” which will turn the Heart Rate sensor off. If you wish to turn the sensor back on, simply place your finger on the RIGHT earpiece again for 3-4 seconds until you hear the voice prompt stating that the Heart Rate sensor has been turned back on.Was this helpful? Yes, the E45BT headphones allow you to switch seamlessly from your music on your portable device to your phone. The controls are located on the Right ear cup which features your volume control and pause and play which is located in the center of the controls.
