Please note: JBL QuantumENGINE is only available on PC.

Why are my headphones shown as “speakers” on Windows?

The “Speaker” mode allows the JBL QuantumENGINE to receive more than two channels of audio. It also prevents some applications from adding extra signal processing intended for other headphones, which would negatively impact the performance of the JBL QuantumSURROUND or JBL QuantumSPHERE 360 technology.

Non-removable microphone feature
We've intentionally designed the flip-up boom mic to stay affixed to the headset. We know from experience that losing or breaking the detachable mic is never fun. Therefore, we designed the mic to fold neatly into the headset - this design also allows the mic to automatically mute when elevated. If you're wanting a detachable mic, please check out the Quantum 100 or the Quantum ONE.
JBL Quantum ONE and Quantum TWS: How do I clean my headset?
You can clean it by wiping it gently with a damp cloth. Take extra care not to let water leak into the speaker chamber, as it will damage the speaker drivers.
JBL QuantumENGINE Features

You can adjust Equalizer, Spatial Sound, RGB LED effects, change microphone settings and update the headset's firmware

If you're connected to the PC via USB, check that the default device is selected under Control Panel > Sound > Playback. Check the JBL Quantum 400 Game device and make sure it is not muted or turned all the way down.

PlayStation Information
The compatibility for JBL Quantum models on PlayStation 5 is the same as it is for PlayStation 4 models.
All JBL Quantum headset models work through 3.5mm audio jack (aux) connected to the PlayStation controller. USB models will also work on PlayStation. In addition, the wireless models works wirelessly when connected to the 2.4GHz USB dongle.
