With innovative technologies derived directly from JBL Professional equipment, the JBL ES100BK delivers powerful, accurate audio performance and brings legendary JBL sound from concert stages, recording studios and cinemas home. You get 500 watts of peak power handling. Hyper-realistic, deep, resonant bass – no unwanted distortion – from proprietary dual 10” JBL® PolyPlas™ low frequency transducers. A 4” midrange transducer, the heart and soul of great sound. UHF drivers are capable of 40 kHz and produce the nuances. EOS waveguides make any seat the best one in the house.

JBL engineers designed the ES100 loudspeaker to deliver enhanced, room-filling sound from a compatible AVR (audio/video receiver) or 25- to 500-watt power amplifier.
Stiff, lightweight PolyPlas material gives great bass response. But the ES100 speaker has other advantages as well. Its driver and rubber surround create a seamless sound field and minimize distortion, even at high volumes. Together, these materials and devices give you an unmatched audio experience.
The midrange frequencies, where vocals are reproduced, are the heart and soul of great audio. They’re also the area where departures from faithful reproduction are the most noticeable. Since the ES100’s midrange driver uses PolyPlas material, which reproduces vocals with incredible accuracy, the voices that you hear from this speaker come out clear and true – just as the artist and engineer intended.
The ES100’s proprietary Elliptical Oblate Spheroidal (EOS) waveguide technology improves the sonic response of your listening environment. You get ideally balanced music, crisp dialogue and smooth audio distribution throughout the listening space. As a result, every seat is the best seat in your home theater.
The ES100’s extremely thin but rigid titanium-laminate dome delivers accurate, undistorted high-frequency response, even when the volume is way up. The end result is full, clear, tight reproduction of high frequencies.
The ideal path from input to components to transducers is a straight line. The ES100 takes the shortest path possible, thanks to its Straight-Line Signal Path™ design. As a result, the speaker preserves the clarity, detail and dynamics of any audio content that it plays.
The ES100’s computer-optimized bass-reflex port extends deep bass response and eliminates unwanted turbulence. You’ll hear low frequencies with complete clarity and minimal noise.
The muscular ES100 offers 125 watts of continuous power handling and 500 watts of peak power, a crossover frequency of 450Hz at 24dB/octave, and 91dB sensitivity. You’ll be just as impressed with it as we are.
The ES100 never over- or under-emphasizes any part of the signals that it receives. With a frequency response of 32Hz – 40kHz, the speaker reproduces a true, full sound range from deep bass tones to ultrahigh frequencies.
You can place the JBL ES100 anywhere in your listening room without worrying that it’ll interfere with your TV picture. It’s magnetically shielded to prevent such distortion, no matter where you place it.
