My LED pairing indicator for my subwoofer has stopped to light. Is it broken?
No, your subwoofer is not defective at all! This is normal and by design of the product after it has been paired for a longer period of time.
My remote control is not working. I have a credit card-sized remote with disc type battery. Do I need to replace the remote control?
It is usually not necessary to replace an unresponsive remote control. First, check to see if there is a small plastic tab extending out of the base of the remote control. This is a protective sleeve installed on new remote controls to prevent the battery from draining. Pull this tab to remove the plastic sleeve. The sleeve must be removed before the remote will operate. If the sleeve was removed or not present and the remote control is not working then a new battery should be installed before replacing the remote control. There is a small slide out drawer that houses the battery. The battery type will be either CR2025 or CR2032 for remotes of this size. Replacement batteries are commonly available from most electronic and convenience stores that sell small batteries. Check the number on the original battery and replace it with a battery that uses the same number. These steps will typically solve the problem.
What does the Audio Feedback button do?
Audio feedback turns on tones that let you know that something is happening on the product. When Audio feedback is ON, you will hear tones for: 1: Bluetooth Pairing. 2: SoundShift on/off. 3: JBL Connect Pairing Mode (Boost TV only)
I cannot connect to my device anymore via Bluetooth, what can i do?
Try resetting the device, and remove the Bluetooth device on your source device in the settings. Now Bluetooth-pair with it again. If the unit still does not work as intended, please contact our helpdesk.
What does HARMAN volume do?
With HARMAN Volume you can set your desired volume between low, medium and high. You can listen to your audio without sudden distracting changes such as blasts from ads, and volume variations as you switch between channels on your TV. Other benefits include full sound effects even at low volumes, this means if you are watching movies (DVD, BlueRay disc) and HARMAN volume is set to low volume, then the signal is more compressed, than what the other volume levels is. This will allow you to hear natural, consistent sound at low volume level, and not only hearing voice conversation from movies, giving you the same movie experience just with lower volume. What is best for you is a matter of personal preference, so we recommend playing around with the three different levels.
How is the SB150 reset to factory default settings?
Unplug the power cord from soundbar. While holding down the VOLUME + button, plug the power cord into the soundbar. A green LED, followed by a blue LED will light up, after which the soundbar will go into standby. The SB150 is now reset.
How can i pair the subwoofer to my SB150?
On the back of the SB150 subwoofer, you will find a "pair" button. Hold down the pair button for 3 seconds. It will start flashing amber rapidly, indicating that the pairing mode has begun. You don't need to press other buttons to make a connection, once the amber light is steady, it is connected to your SB150 soundbar.
What are the benefits of the SB 150's EQ settings?
The three EQ setting (Movie, Music, News) adjusts the sound setting of the SB 150. This feature provides a superior audio experience customized to the content being played.
I cannot connect the subwoofer to my SB150, how come?
If the pairing mode is not succesful, please move the subwoofer closer to your SB150. The pairing process can take up to 30 seconds before a connection has been established.
After i switch from Bluetooth to Optical and back again, the Bluetooth connection stopped?
The Bluetooth connection will not keep playing once you have switched the source. Simply press play again on your Bluetooth device to start streaming once again.
Is it possible to update my JBL SB150 by myself?
If any update exist, then it is only possible to get it updated, via our authorized service center. The USB port on the back, is meant for service use only. Contact support for more information.
