There is a constant red light in the LED while charging takes place. When charging is complete, the diode goes dark.

You can adjust equalizer, RGB LED effects, calibrate Quantum ONE headtracking, change microphone settings and update the headset's firmware.

The JBL Headphones app provide the following functions:

The soundbar will auto switch the source between HDMI eARC and optical. HDMI eARC is higher priority than optical source. It is not possible to manually switch from HDMI to optical.

All speakers are set to react when you use the keywords to interact with Google. To eliminate multiple speakers talking at the same time, using the "Microphone Mute" button will stop the speaker from reacting to the keywords.

You can access your Assistant history if you go to My Activity (myactivity.google.com) or the My Activity link in the Google Home app to view what you have asked and delete it if you want.

If the USB port gets too wet, the case will stop charging to avoid the temperature becoming too high.

If the USB port on the case detects liquid, you can see a white flash from the LED lighting bar.

"Sports Mode" enhances your work-out experience by adapting the ambient sound level and the EQ settings. This feature can be turned on in the JBL Headphones app. "Sports Mode" include outdoor walking, hiking, outdoor running, elliptical, indoor running and functional training.

When "Sports Mode" is turned on, the Ambient Sound Control and the assigned gestures will be temporarily disabled. Both Ambient Sound Control and the assigned gestures will be turned on again once "Sports Mode" is turned off.

We use the microphones on the outside of the earcup to pick up the outside ambient noise and play through the headphone. With the unique JBL solution, the user can adjust the level of the ambient noise up or down, and the balance from left to right, so that they are in full control of how loud the ambient sound is in each earcup.

Voice assistants from Google and Amazon utilize artificial intelligence to quickly answer questions, communicate hands-free and provide notifications among many other helpful benefits. 

JBL Connect+ can wirelessly link more than 100 JBL Connect+ enabled speakers together to amplify the party

The JBL Connect technology links two JBL Connect enabled speakers wirelessly to each other, so the play the same music. This is done by pressing the Connect button on both devices.

Dolby Atmos is a 3D surround sound format.
Using Dolby Atmos, the soundbar can reproduce multi-channel surround sound, including a virtual height channel.

HDCP stands for High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection. In short term, this is used to protect 4K material from illegal pirating. Every device in your chain system, must support HDCP 2.2, meaning if your 4K Blue-Ray player has HDCP 2.2, then your Soundbar must support it (SB450 does) and TV as well, or else you won't see any 4K material. In case your TV do not support HDCP 2.2, then it will downscale to 1080P content, this is done by the Blue-Ray player.

JBL Pro Sound is achieved through robust 40mm Mica Dome drivers, which are precisely tuned to deliver deep bass, balanced mids and crystal-clear highs. Each Mica Dome deliver refined high frequencies above 40kHz for the best on-the-go listening experience. Mica is a renewable mineral that can be split into extremely thin elastic plates, making it flexible enough to respond fast and precisely to the electrical signals in headphone drivers.

JBL Safe Sound is an added parental control toy can use in the JBL Headphones app. You can set the max volume and for how long kids can listen for. With "time-up" reminders, parents can even record their own voice prompt notifications.

It's also possible to receive daily and weekly activity reports on volume and time exposure to help maintain safe listening habits.

A PIN Code protects the max volume limit and daily time limit from being modified.

The Low Volume Dynamic EQ feature can optimize EQ, boosts low and high frequencies to maintain the same high-fidelity performance at low volume. When you listen to music in low volume, the whole music dynamic will be decreased due to low and high frequency volume reduction. Some music is best to enjoy at a higher volume, but this approach can hurt your ears. With Low Volume Dynamic EQ, you can still receive an enjoyable music experience even in low or high volume, and still protect your ears without compromising on the listening experience.

MapMyRun is a fitness tracking application that enables you to use the built-in GPS of your mobile device to track all of your fitness activities. Record your workout details, including duration, distance, pace, speed, elevation, calories burned, and route traveled on an interactive map.

This will illuminate if the voltage drops, increase on power or open circuit, in any wires touching the chassis

"Relax Sound" is a feature in the JBL Headphones app, which let's you choose a peaceful sound, like gentle ocean waves or a crackling wood fire to listen to.

You can adjust a slider to select how long you want to listen to the relaxing sounds, and also select whether you want to listen to one or more of the sounds.

When you need to talk to someone in person while wearing headphones, the advanced built in voice recognition algorithms reacts to your voice and automatically pauses the music and enables TalkThru if you just speak. Music and ANC resume after the conversation is over. There is no need to pause the music manually or remove the headphones - start talking and let the technology do the rest. You can extend the duration of Smart Talk in the JBL Headphones app when no voice is detected.

If social mode is switched on, it is possible to connect up to three source devices. Either device can take over playing. It is the last source-device which presses play, which plays music.

Spatial sound gives a more natural, realistic and accurate immersive experience whether you are listening to music, movies or games.

The technology processes more details from any stereo content, which generates reflections and reverberation signals. The integrated head tracking means that sound stay fixed in space even when you turn your head, which adds a new layer of realism to your immersive listening.

The Smart Tx draws power from the source when using it with a USB-C connection. The battery life of the Smart Tx is 18 hours when the product is connected with a 3.5mm aux connection or used without a connection to a power source.

We recommend inserting the ear tips (L for left, R for right located at the end of the ear tip extension) in the ear first and then proceed to wrap the ear loop around your ear. Please make sure to try all three sizes to insure the most comfortable fit.

The Bluetooth range varies. However, you should get up to 15 meters (just under 50 ft) when using the product indoors. If you are using the headphones outside, conditions vary based on surroundings and body mass. For the best connectivity results, please make sure that the device you are paired to is in the front of your body.

Bluetooth range is normally up to about 10 m. More than that the signal will get unstable.

A clip has been included to help ensure the best fit and security of the headphones. Placing the clip on the audio cord and attaching to the top back of your shirt you should be able to twist your head right and left without the clip pulling your ear.

100 is in-ear, 300 is on-ear, 700 is over-ear.

You'll have all the benefits from HDMI 2.0, but with 2.0a you will also have HDR (High Dynamic Range). Don't confuse HDR with cameras, this is used for TV's that support HDR content. In short, if a Blu-Ray supports HDR, it can enhanced dark scenes from a movie with this option.

The difference is the BTA unit, which is a Bluetooth transmitter. The Soundgear BTA comes with the BTA unit in the box. The Soundgear does not. The BTA can be connected (with a signal cable) to a TV set, a CD player, or any other stereo line-level source, and can then stream this signal to the Soundgear wirelessly, via Bluetooth. TV sound or game sound are possible, since the BTA and the Soundgear use aptX Low Latency, which reduces the audio delay to levels, where picture and sound will be closely synchronized. The physical battery in Boombox has a capacity of 10.000mAh @7.4V. This is the charged battery storage. When outputting ( so power from the battery is drawn ), it's using 3.7V, half the storage voltage, which will give you 74Wh - equivalent to a 20.000mAh battery with power stored at 3.7V.

Since there is no fixed standard for headphone connections, there are two cables in the box, with different polarity. If one cable does not give good audio results, try the other cable. This usually solves the problem. The majority of phone models (Apple, Samsung from Galaxy S2 model, LG, HTC, Sony, Motorola, Blackberry) require the audio cable with the silver plugs. Pin assignment in this cable from the tip of the plug: R/L/Ground/Microphone. However, some manufacturers, such as some models from Nokia, require a cable with different pin assignment, (R/L/Microphone/Ground). In this case, you should use the audio cable with the black plugs.

The Endurance Jump features the power hook which provides a secure fit ear hook design, which automatically turns the power on/off when putting on or taking off the earphones. The Sprint does not feature the power hook and you manually have to turn on/off the headphones by pressing and holding the JBL logo on the RIGHT ear hook.

The SB 250 has optical and auxiliary connections, while the SB 350 has both connections along with HDMI ARC. The SB 250 has the JBL SoundShift feature (one-button switch between TV and Bluetooth connection), while the SB 350 does not. JBL Bar 9.1 is 884 mm (without the surrounds in charging position). Surrounds add approx. 160 mm on each side, in charging position.

With the speaker ON, press and hold the VOL+ and Pause/Play buttons for 5-6 seconds. The Xtreme shuts down, and is now reset. You will need to 'forget' the speaker in Bluetooth settings on your phone/tablet in order to pair it again.

Speakers will dual tweeters gives listeners the ability to have a single speaker to drive two independent channels, ideally stereo left and right.
