  • Sometimes you need to change settings such as changing EQ to match the content you are watching or adjusting the bass level.
    1. Grab your Remote control.
    2. Press and hold the "HOME" button down, an overlay on the right side of the screen will appear.
    3. This is our quick settings menu.
    4. Go to Settings --> Sound --> Select EQ Mode
    5. Hit the back button Arrow icon a couple of times until you are back at what you are watching.
    With the Quick settings menu, you don't have to stop and leave the app or content you are watching, its very simple, and easy to use!
  • You can adjust the amount of audio coming from the upfiring speakers by pressing the "ATMOS" button on the Remote control and switch between middle (default), high or low.
  • With both detachable surround speakers undocked, you can select the surround sound level by pressing the REAR button on the remote control.
  • • Always have clear line of sight between your Bluetooth device (speaker, headphones etc.) and source device (Smartphone/tablet/PC etc). Be aware of obstacles in front of your devices.

    • Try to shutdown other products that have Bluetooth, but are not being used. They are often the reason for interference even though they are not being used.

    • Do not stand too close to your Wi-Fi router since a Wi-Fi signal is stronger and in many cases will "overlap" the connection.

    • Be aware of walls around you. Concrete and brick walls will often interrupt the signal, as it cannot pass through such thick walls.

    • Bluetooth signals cannot travel through water, which includes the human body. Make sure with wireless headphones to keep your source device and the receiver on the same side of your body.

    • Open spaces such as parks can cause issues for your devices, as open air is "bad" for any Bluetooth signal if it cannot reflect from objects around you.
  • You might have to add a USB extension dock to get the JBL Quantum 350/600/800/810 dongle as close to the headset, or place the common sources of interference (e.g. routers, Wi-Fi speakers etc.) as far from the JBL Quantum 350/600/800/810 dongle.

  • The surround speakers can be recharged through the USB-C connection, located on the side of the speaker. The speakers can be charged by docking them in the soundbar also.
  • The battery is charged using an included USB-A to USB-C USB fabric cable. It will be fully charged for 2 hrs. Note, this cable is only for charging the battery, it will not deliver audio.
  • To check the firmware version:
    Press and hold the 'Preset 1' & 'Preset 5' buttons for more than 10 seconds.
  • To find out the software version, press and hold the [VOL- ] and [SOURCE] buttons simultaneously.  The software version will scroll across the front display.

    How to clean your speaker
    • Dirt and stains on your speaker can be cleaned under lukewarm running tap water.
    • Use a soft cloth, preferably cotton, to clean the glass and to remove fingerprints. Hold the top part to avoid adding more prints to the glass part.
    Remember not to charge the device while it is still wet. The charging port needs to be completely dry before charging.

    Use a clean cotton swab slightly moistened with alcohol to:
    1. Remove earwax and dirt from the ear tips on your earbuds.
    2. Clean the charging pads and ports on your earbuds and in the charging case respectively. Then use a dry and soft cotton to rub down the dust and lint.
    3. Clean the grooves on the cover and at the bottom of the charging case.
    After cleaning, make sure the charging case and earbuds are dry before putting the earbuds back into the charging case.

    TIP: 
    We recommend that you repeat this operation every few weeks or so to keep your headphones clean and to not affect the charging speed and quality.
  • You can clean it by wiping it gently with a damp cloth. Take extra care not to let water get into the speaker chamber, as it will damage the speaker drivers.

  • Our FLIP 5 speaker is an "All-weather companion," and sometimes it can get dirt and other substances on it. Clean your speaker under lukewarm water from your water tap, and use a microfiber cloth to remove stains. Do not use any alcohol or other to remove stains and dirt. Do not charge your product while the charging port is wet; make sure it is dry before you connect it to a charger. Contact our Customer support if you need more advice.
  • With a short press of the dedicated Bluetooth button on the underside of the right ear cup, it powered on and enter the pairing mode.
     
  • 1. Open the Google Home app 2. Select the LINK VIEW 3. Select SETTINGS. 4. There is a line that says Paired Bluetooth Devices. 5. When you select it, it gives you the option to ENABLE PAIRING MODE. 6. Use your voice - "Hey Google, Open Bluetooth" and LINK VIEW will enable Bluetooth connection. You can disable Bluetooth using "Hey Google, Close Bluetooth" Once you have enabled Bluetooth pairing mode on your LINK VIEW, simply go into your Bluetooth settings menu on your mobile device and connect.
  • To successfully connect the JBL Wireless Microphone Set to a Partybox, connect the supplied 6.3mm jack dongle to the Partybox's Microphone Input. Now turn on the dongle and the Partybox. The dongle's Power button light should stay lit, if the light turns off or does not stay lit it is off and needs to be charged with the provided USB cable.*

    Now turn on one or both microphones as required and increase the Mic volume and gain to the desired level. The LED screen will show a channel number 'CH-1', 'CH-2', etc. The channel number is not changeable manually, and may change between power cycles, but all channels will connect automatically to the dongle. If the LED screens do not show a channel number, the batteries in the microphones need to be replaced.

    *Charging the dongle while in use is not recommended and will likely cause unwanted interference.
  • You can enjoy streaming your favorite music over WiFi to your JBL BAR 5.1 Surround by adding it to your network.

    Connecting to WiFi
    • Turn on your soundbar.
    • Download the Google Home app to your phone.
      • Available on Android and Apple.
    • Enable Bluetooth, Location services on your Android device.
    • Enable Bluetooth on your Apple device.
    • Open Google Home app
    • Follow the instructions given in the app.
    You are now connected to your WiFi network and can enjoy streaming music to your system.
  • You can enjoy streaming your favorite music over WiFi to your JBL BAR 9.1 Surround by adding it to your network. Turn on your soundbar. Download the Google Home app to your phone. Enable Bluetooth and Location services on your device. Open Google Home app Follow the instructions given in the app. You are now connected to your WiFi network and can enjoy streaming music to your system. The soundbar will now be able to automatically update, to make sure the performance is the best at all times.
  • Visit the App Store and download the ‘Amazon Alexa’ App.

    1. Click the Plus(+) button on the top right of the screen.
    2. Then select ‘Add Device‘.
    3. Select headphones from the list and then choose your Headphones from the list of available devices.
    4. Follow the rest of the instructions in the Alexa App to complete the setup.
  • If not pre-installed on your Android device, visit your App store to download the ‘Google Assistant’ App.

    After you have paired your JBL headphones to your device via Bluetooth, you should receive a pop-up notification (pictured below). Please tap the notification on your device to start the Google Assistant setup. You will now be directed to the Google Assistant App.

    Follow the steps to connect and pair “JBL XXXX-LE” (depends on your model) with your devices.
    Once set up is complete, you will see the below screen:

    PLEASE NOTE: In order to verbally interact with your Google Assistant via the headphone you must turn on the ‘Spoken Notifications’ in the Google Assistant App. This can be found under: Assistant Devices > Notifications. Alternatively, your JBL headphones can be added to the Google Assistant App manually by adding them as a Bluetooth device if this was not done when first paired. Google Assistant must be selected as your chosen voice assistant in the settings of the My JBL Headphones App also.

  • Visit your App store to download the ‘Google Assistant’ App.
