  • The top panel LEDs are flashing because the OTA firmware update is in progress, the product should work after the upgrade is completed. It may have been caused by a previous interruption to an update.

     

    It should be possible to resolve the issue by doing the following:

    • Plug in the power cable and wait for at least 5 minutes for the Partybox Ultimate to complete the update.
    • If the Partybox Ultimate stops flashing, but cannot power on, then perform a factory reset by pressing the two buttons below for more than 10 seconds: Moment (heart symbol) and Play (or through the JBL One app). After this has been done, press the Power button. 
  • As with all in-ear headphones, our range of True Wireless Stereo headphones can be susceptible to a build up of dust and earwax. This can cause low volume on one or both earbuds, or balance issues (e.g. right earbud is louder than the left earbud). To reduce the likelihood of these issues occurring, it is a good idea to periodically clean your earbuds. Clean the earbuds by removing dust and wax after each use, using a pointed toothpick to remove larger amounts and a small amount of rubbing alcohol applied to a cotton swab for final degreasing. Remember to clean the charging points on the headphones and inside the charging case.

    If you are experiencing volume or balance issues, always check for wax and dirt in and around the earbud and driver and complete cleaning of the earbuds as described above. If the issue persists, there may be earwax/dirt stuck in the small holes in the grille in front of the driver, preventing sound output. To resolve the issue try dipping the affected earbud tip into a solution of lukewarm tap water and a small amount of dish soap (washing up liquid). The earbud tip should only be put into the liquid up to a maximum depth of 1-2 mm only (see images below). Immersing the earbuds in water or putting the earbuds in water at a larger depth than this could void your warranty. Keep the earbud tip in the water for about 2-3 minutes, then wipe/clean the grille with a small brush (such as a toothbrush). This should remove the wax and resolve the volume/balance issues.

    Any conversation or search history is stored in the cloud via your Google account and saved until you choose to delete it in the Google Home app. The LINK BAR does not keep or store any data locally.

  •  All JBL Quantum headset models work only through 3.5mm audio jack (aux) connected to the Xbox controller. You cannot connect to any Xbox Series console via Bluetooth. 

    Please note: JBL QuantumENGINE is only available on PC.
     
  • The JBL Wireless Microphone set allows 2 x wireless microphones* to be connected to any PartyBox model ** through the use of a dongle connected to the Mic input. Additionally, a 3rd wired microphone - like the JBL PBM100 Wired Microphone, can also be connected to the switchable Guitar/Mic 2 input (only available on some PartyBox models). This will also work when using the non-switchable Guitar input on other Partybox models - however, this will bypass the karaoke effects including echo for the connected microphone and would generally have a slightly different sound character/timbre to a microphone connected to the Microphone input.

    *This includes the PartyBox On-The-Go, a maximum of 2 wireless microphones can be connected and used simultaneously. The standard bundled PartyBox On-The-Go microphone can only be connected to the PartyBox On-The-Go that it came bundled with, it also cannot connect wirelessly to any other PartyBox models or portable speakers other than the PartyBox On-The-Go that it came bundled with. Only one standard, bundled PartyBox On-The-Go wireless microphone can be connected at a time, unless the JBL Wireless Microphone is purchased (sold separately), a spare part will only work as a replacement, not simultaneously.

  • There is no plan for adding JBL Connect support for Playlist speaker. But you can group any speaker together that support Chromecast built-in for multi-room experience.
  • When connected to a device using the Wireless USB (A or C) dongle the head tracking feature (JBL QuantumSPATIAL 360) will work. To enable JBL Quantum 360SPHERE and spatial calibration the JBL Quantum Engine is required.

  • The head tracking will only work when connected via the wireless USB (A or C) dongle. The reason for this is that the head tracking technology uses a lot of processing power and a low latency connection.

  • Yes, if no audio is present and no buttons are pressed, DUET will go into standby after approx. 10 minutes.

  • Yes, when casting music to your JBL Playlist, your speaker is connected to Google Cloud, which will turn your smart device into a remote control, rather than streaming music directly to the Playlist. You can easily do other things with your phone while using Chromecast, such as gaming, texting, make calls, watch Youtube etc. This will not interrupt the music that you are casting.

  • Using Wi-Fi allows you to listen to your music in a higher sound quality since Bluetooth protocol compresses the audio signal, where Wi-Fi data easily stream HD Audio content. Take calls without interrupting your current audio music, where Bluetooth will interrupt the stream, because it is a one-way protocol. Control your music from anywhere in the house, where Bluetooth have a limited range.     You can purchase the dedicated 15-60W JBL USB-C PD adaptor on jbl.com or any other retail stores. Simply connect the USB-C PD Adaptor with your speaker and enjoy the guaranteed performance JBL promised.

    You can use any standard USB-C cable to charge your JBL product as well as a power adapter compliant with the USB-C standard.

    Past product already have standardized USB-C cables, which can be reused for new products.

  • If the preset DAB/FM station signal is not strong enough the alarm will go off in buzzer mode instead. Make sure the signal is strong enough, by checking that the station plays without static or distortion (FM).
  • We believe the baseline performance of the QuantumSPHERE technology is cutting edge in terms of localization. The calibration feature improves upon this performance by calibrating the system to your individual anatomy.
  • There is a setting in the JBL One app called Bluetooth reconnection. You can change the behavior to enable it to automatically reconnect every time the speaker is turned on, if this is the behavior you want.

  • The speaker has an auto calibration feature, which measures the space around the speaker and adjusts the sound quality based on the room around it. Auto calibration will automatically work when you power on the speaker and begin playing music. For the best sound, we recommend placing the speaker in the middle of the room, at least 0.5 meters away from any walls.

  • When not connected to AC power, the speaker will be automatically switch off after 1 hour of inactivity to save battery consumption. You can adjust the auto standby time on JBL One app.

  • If your Micro II does not sense an audio signal on its input, it goes into Standby to save power. It should wake up again when audio is sensed. Since Micro II senses audio on its input, not on the speaker volume, always turn up the volume on the source, then control speaker volume on the Micro II. This way it will not go into Standby unless music stops.
  • Please check your OS version. If you are using an iPhone with OS version of 8.3 or lower , please upgrade your system to the latest version.
  • -       The Google Assistant isn’t available in certain languages and countries. For countries without Google Assistant, you can double tap the left ear cup on the headphone to activate the native voice assistant on your mobile device.
