In the owner's manual, the trigger input is described as "optional". But without a trigger cable, it seems impossible to switch the amplifier on and off. How come?

In the owner's manual, the trigger input is described as "optional". But without a trigger cable, it seems impossible to switch the amplifier on and off. How come?

The amplifier has a signal sensor on the high-level (speaker level) inputs, so it is not necessary to use a trigger cable when input is high-level, and connected to the high-level inputs. However, low-level input signals through the RCA-phone input sockets do not activate a signal sensor, so use of a trigger cable is MANDATORY for low-level input signal use.
